RPCC

Welcome to the 2020 edition of the Fall Gala Sale. 2020 sure has been a different year all over the world, but a few things have remained constant. The world needs to eat, and beef sales have remained strong – and local freezer trade has overwhelmed most of our local abattoirs with product. The cattle market has remained generally strong and fall stocker calf and cull cow markets are very strong.

Even though none of these girls have got to go to town for any shows this fall, we feel the heifer calves offered are right and ready to offer some fun to their new owners next year. The bred heifer pen is deep – don’t ask Jane how many should be in the keeper pen! It really makes us happy to talk to customers with cattle performing terrifically in the pastures for their new owners from our past sales -that is what sharing these cattle with you is really all about.

We continue to be blessed with a great group of consignors to work with and have added a couple of new faces to the group this year. We are also very thankful for a great group of family and friends that do a lot of work to make this sale a success every year.

We would love to see you on October 18th, however if you are unable to attend in person please be assured that we will do everything we can to assist you from a distance. As we are all well aware, having events come with some guidelines, the Fall Gala sale will be following Health and Safety guidelines; check in upon arrival, social distancing, face coverings when required and multiple hand sanitizer stations. Please keep an eye on our RPCC web page and social media pages for updates on health and safety regulations as they are constantly changing as we navigate through these crazy times.
