LHVS CHARLES 29C
15-Jan-15
Horned Fullblood
March 5, 2016 sale day, never in our wildest dreams did we imagine that LHVS Charles 29C would sell for what he did. There are certain milestones in a purebred breeders life that you hope will happen. We’ve achieved more than most. Lockhart Valley has been around since 1989 and we are proud of what we’ve accomplished. I’d say that selling Charles to the good folks of Rendezvous Farms in Manitoba was a highlight. Last spring it was with great anticipation that we waitied for our first Charles calves. As Hannah stated in Mancrushes footnotes, he did not disappoint. We registered every calf we got out of him, there were no throwaways. His sons are color patterned after him, most have length and extra muscle mass. Charle’s daughters are feminine with the same color patterning, deep sided and thick. Everyone is blessed with his hair coat (lots of hair) and great temperaments. I’m not going to go on and on about him. Hannah’s described his sons pretty well. So I’ll let you decide for yourselves. Look them over and contemplate whether any of them could make your herd more exciting . . . I think you’ll say yes.
