He was a member of our champion pen at Edam Fall Fair and then went to Lloydminster Stockade Roundup and was the all breeds bull calf champion in the King of the Ring jackpot show. After that he was one of our high selling bulls at our bull sale in February. This heifer has had the same eye appeal and character as her full brother had from a very young age. Her dam LRX 40R is a very impressive cow with a solid production record. She has produced some good females for us and we are now flushing her to try and gain more of her influence in our herd. 45Z has a lot of very good qualities when you analyze her and a very consistent pedigree behind her. We were fortunate to purchase a semen share from Troy Drake and have used him heavy in our AI program. His calves are hard to fault, so we used him even harder this spring. Roulette herself has all the desirable traits we search for – she is moderate with great muscle expression, with a beautiful front end, she is thick and deep bodied and is heavy haired!! She portrays the class and presence to become a great show heifer or donor female for you. Her dam has been a “can’t miss” female for us raising 2 sale highlights in the past and we have retained her other daughter in our herd.
