It is with great pride that we invite you to this essential event for the future of your agricultural businesses. Buying your breeding bulls is one of the most important tasks of the year and we do everything in our power to give you bull choices that will meet your needs. The bulls presented in this auction have been selected from a wide base of cows, if we do not have 100% confidence that they will bring positive results to your program they are simply castrated. The 2018 offer is varied in genetics but very uniform in quality! We put a great deal of emphasis on calving ease, which is very important for your operation. As a bonus this year more than 75% of our bulls are polled or scurred. We are very happy to be working this year again with Ferme Palerme SENC bringing us an excellent group of Charolais. Their 2018 offer is one of their strongest with good, moderate, muscular bulls that will respond to today’s market. Again this year we are very pleased to team up with professionals like Jessy Smith from LiveAuctions, Ivor Thurston for the videos, Daryl Snider and Matt Criddle from Bohrson Marketing Services and Charles Ménard our auctioneer and without forgetting all those that make this event possible.

L’achat de vos taureaux de reproduction est un élément des plus importants au cours de l’année et nous faisons tout ce qui est en notre pouvoir pour vous offrir des taureaux qui répondront à vos besoins. Les taureaux présentés dans cette vente ont été soigneusement sélectionnés sur une large base de vaches solides : si nous n’étions pas certains à 100% qu’ils amèneraient du positif à vos entreprises, nous les aurions tout simplement castrés ! L’offre 2018 est très variée en génétique mais très uniforme en qualité. Nous avons mis une très belle emphase sur la facilité de vêlage, un atout majeur pour vos troupeaux commerciaux. Et en bonus cette année, plus de 75% de nos taureaux sont acères ou à cornillons. Cette année encore, nous sommes très heureux de travailler avec Ferme Palerme SENC qui nous propose un excellent groupe de Charolais. Ils arrivent petits à la naissance, sont bien pigmentés et ont une excellente croissance. Plusieurs de ses filles seront des vedettes de notre vente de production le 29 septembre prochain. Félicitations à SEMEX/CIAQ pour l’acquisition de Guerrero cet été. Du côté maternel, vous retrouvez notre fameuse JB CDN Kananaskis…Wow ! Notre idée était simple lorsque nous avons flushé Kananaskis à Guerrero : produire les prochains taureaux acères Full Flekcvieh avec plus de 95% de génétique à cornes et qui proviennent de deux parents élites de cette industrie. Et nous sommes extrêmement satisfaits du résultat! Here is another feature son of Guerrero. But what a beautiful individual. This polled bull is very unique with his dark color, superb musculature, structural soundness, and calving ease. His mother is very productive with a perfect udder. She has just given us a beautiful Raptor heifer that is just splendid for her age and that you will hear about in the future. Our Spitfire daughters are among our best on the farm without a doubt. What more could we add... ah yes we want to keep 50 doses for our herd only! Without a doubt one of the stars in the Fleckvieh world this year. Dilutor Free. Voici une autre vedette de Guerrero. Mais quel beau spécimen ! We believe that bulls like French Attack are pushing the bar to another level. Esposito is extremely thick while moving very smoothly. And if you love hairy bulls he will meet this criteria! Here is a bull that we have really enjoyed since birth. His father is a polled son of Colossal who did a very good job on the farm. His calves are sharp and meaty. Red River is the powerful bull of this group with very good length and a lot of top. His maternal grandmother is one of our best red-factor cows on the farm bought at the Kopp dispersal. We used Bethoven on our young cows with great success. His calves have all arrived very easily and have this natural thickness right from birth. Jasper is one of the first sons to sell from our new Anchor D Raptor herd bull. We did not have a big sample of Raptor calves last winter but we did notice how small and vigorous his progenies are at birth. We had about 40 calves from him this year and I promise you that his sons will make a splash at our 2019 bull sale! Jasper is the kind of bull that the more you analyze him, the more you will love him. He has a very beautiful structure and his mother is a beautiful cow.
