WELCOME
to our 1st Annual Online Sale from Enright Farms
We would like to welcome you back to the Valley for our 1st annual online sale. What seems like a lifetime ago since we last hosted a live sale, a few things have changed. Our purebred herd has continued to gradually grow while we try to create the perfect balance of style and performance. As you’ll read throughout the book we have taken some of the best show genetics available such as Roundtable, Classen, Sandy, and Pin Up Gal’s and combined them with some of the more performance oriented genetics like Alcatraz, Triumph, and Jesse James. With the strong maternal traits, performance and style we have found this to make an ideal Angus female that can compete in both the show ring and pasture.

One of the biggest and best changes we’ve experienced since our last live sale is all the kids!

With Kathryn and I having four, Jack and Lauren with two, and Robert and Ashley with two plus one on the way! There is never a dull moment and always lots of laughter. With kids you quickly learn which cows are kid friendly, no vehicle is safe with keys in it, every barn cat needs a name, and monkey see monkey do or say! With all the chaos in juggling work schedules, farming, school, and the tons of extracurricular activities we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Once again we have teamed up with our great friends Andy & Barb Vos of Vos Vegas Angus. With a friendship that has grown over 13 plus
years our vision has remained the same. To produce the most elite genetics possible and offer them at a reasonable price. With Alex and Hailie becoming more involved we look forward to what’s to come from Vos Vegas!
In the middle of August Wyatt Burgomaster joined our team which in a way saved the sale. There didn’t seem to be enough hours in the day to work sale calves and try to do everything else that needed to be done around the farm. We thank him for all the long, hard hours he’s put in getting the sale cattle ready. Everything in the sale is tie broke and most of the calves are show broke. Several of the sale cattle will be entered at the Royal Winter Fair as well as Agribition.
We feel this offering is something very special and we have selected animals that are worry free cattle that will go out and do their job. The heifer calves are at an ideal stage and were developed with their future in mind. The powerful group of breds we have assembled have been carefully selected and mated to help enhance the next generation. We plan to have several of the mothers of these females available for viewing come sale time.
If any of us at Enright Farms, or Vos Vegas Farms, can be of any assistance please free to contact us. We would love to visit with you!

Excitement. Opportunity. Progress. A few words that come to mind when thinking of the Enright and Vos Vegas programs and this first annual sale. It has been a number of years since there have been many or any females released from these programs and it is easy to see the hard work, genetic investment, and progress that has been happening with the cow herds. It is staggering to realize the cow families that are building these programs, a literal “who’s who” of Angus legends - on every page of this catalog is literally the most recognizable show and production cow families in North America.
We encourage you to come tour this impressive offering at the beautiful Enright Farms headquarters. Witness what has been built and put into these cattle, as both programs have spared no expense in seeking and investing in the best genetics available. There is no other place where you can find the combination of elite phenotype and production ability backed by a Primrose, Blackbird, Saras Dream, Annie K, Erica, or a Sandy. It has been a very well designed and ultimately successful approach to combining the high end look of those females with the production type sires Sensation, Bloodline, and Alcatraz.
The lot 1 female and the flush option on her mother represent possibly THE opportunity of the fall to be part of an exciting show run and investment potential. It is often said that one female can change a program, and they are just that type. Lots 2 through 4 are not to be overlooked, as the Blackbird cow family has been responsible for two CWA top ten bull finalists and one that won the whole darn thing! Following that family is a big time set of open heifers, with many that will be campaigned with success this fall and all backed by rare and valuable genetics. The bred female offering displays some alternative cow families as well as your chance to obtain immediate return in 2023 with the exciting matings on these females.
Please accept the invitation to join the festivities on the October 15-16 weekend as the cattle will be on display on Saturday afternoon, followed by a prime rib social in the evening. The sale will close out on DLMS.ca starting at 7PM EST on Sunday. Our Bohrson Marketing team is very excited for this event and looks forward to visiting with Angus enthusiasts about this truly exceptional offering. Please let us know if we can be of any assistance with your selections.

ONLINE BIDDING
HOW TO BID | WWW.DLMS.CA | HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN A FARMGATE TIMED AUCTION
After you are at the FarmGate Timed auction site click the LOGIN/ REGISTRATION button.
FIRST TIME FARMGGATE USERS: First time users will select the REGISTER button from this page. Fill out the registration form to signup for a free user account and it allows you to select a username and password for use on all Farm Gate Timed auctions. (please note due to some of the text notification features the FarmGate Time Auction Site requires a new account separate account from your DLMS Live sale site)
- After you create your FarmGate account you will receive a txt message with a pin code to verify your account. - On your first log in to FarmGate Timed auctions we recommend you go to your profile and confirm your notifications are set to YES. This allows the site to send you text and/or email notifications when you are out bid and if there is activity on your favorite lots.
RETURNING FARMGGATE USERS: If you have used Farm Gate Timed auctions in the past simply enter your user name and password to continue. After you have logged in you are able to browse the timed auctions on DLMS FarmGate Timed Auctions.
HOW TO BID IN A TIMED AUCTION: Now that you are logged in and your account phone number / email is verified you are able to bid on an upcoming sale. Simply find the lot you are interested in bidding on. After you have found the lot there are 2 options for bidding on the lot.
PLACE NEXT BID – to place the next bid on the item, you see the amount in the first box, you simply click the “Place Bid” button and after you review the bid and agree to the terms and conditions your bid will be placed. MAX BID AMOUNT – to place a max bid you put your max bid in the second box listed as “Max Bid” on the item, and then click the “Place Bid” button and after you review the bid and agree to the terms and conditions your bid will be placed as the next bid. With the Max Bid placed the computer will then keep you as the high bidder to the max amount you have placed. This can be a great feature if you are not able to give 100% attention to the sale close out and protect your interest so you do not miss out on any lots you want to purchase. The Max Bid amount is completely confidential from the seller during the sale process.
EXAMPLE OF HOW THE MAX BID WORKS - If the lot has a $2000
bid on it and you place a proxy bid of $3500 into the system, the computer will bid $2100 for you but if some one else bids $2200, the computer will again bid for you, this time at $2300. The system will look after your interest to a maximum of $3500. If another bidder is on at $3600, your proxy will no longer be effective and you will no longer have the winning bid on this lot without once again logging in and bidding again or moving your attention to a second lot of interest. Please note that in some cases a lot value can change very quickly if 2 max bids are placed on the same lot competing against each other.
WATCH LIST FEATURE: If you have items in multiple auctions or only a few from the same auction that you want to watch with out having to scroll through the entire list you can add the lots to your watchlist. On each lot you will see the “eye” button beside the bid button, by clicking this “watchlist” Icon that item is added to your personal watchlist for easy viewing of just your favorite lots in this sale or on the entire site.
SALE ENDING / CLOSEOUT: Most FarmGate Timed Auction sales close racehorse style with extended bidding.

WHAT IS RACEHORSE STYLE CLOSE? Racehorse style sale close is when the entire sale stays open in extended bidding. This type of sale allows you as the bidder to change to a different lot within the same sale if the bidding has gone in to extended bidding.
HOW WILL EXTENDED BIDDING WORKS? When we get to the close out end time the clock for close extends with any bid placed with less than 5 min on the clock. This type of extended bidding turns the end time to more of a soft time. Extended bidding allows bidders to compete in lots like a real auction and give all bidders the same time to make a decision. Always follow the clock to see how much time remains in the sale you are interested in.
BIDDING CLOSE & FOLLOW-UP: After the clock has gone to “ENDED” and no bidding has occurred for 5 min the computer will declare the sale finished. Following the close typically within 24 hours of the sale close the sale consignor will contact all winning bidders to arrange payment, transfer of pedigrees and delivery/Pick up of your lot. Or as the winning bidding you can contact the sale consignor / sale manager to confirm payment instructions. - Please make sure that your account info is up-to-date and correct if you are the winning bidder of a lot as this is how the billing is sent to Sale manager and/or Sale consignor.

was very easy when selecting the lot 1 female for our 1st Annual Online Sale. EF Oattes Primrose 2234 is sure to be one of the very special show heifers to sell this fall. With all the similar characteristics of her mother at this age. This beautifully fronted female blends nicely into a flat shoulder and back into big square hip on great hind leg. A female with tremendous eye appeal, backed by some of the most tried and true pedigrees there is. EF Oattes Primrose 2234 is ready to dominate the show ring and donor pen. She

824 has been a favorite of mine for many years now. To me she is the ideal Angus cow, and what we are trying to breed here at Enright Farms. Females that can go out and do their job in the pasture or at 4 years of age be pulled into the show barn, halter broke and shown. With a beautiful angus head, angular front end, a big hip and perfect udder, 824 is the true definition of donor cow. 824 is out of one of all time great donors EXAR Blackbird 5877. A female who’s legacy will have a long lasting impression on our program. She is the dam of EF TITAN 545 who was the Champion Angus bull and RBC Beef Supreme Champion Male at Agribition in 2016 as well the dam of EF Colossal 520 the 2017 Champion Angus Bull and Top 10 Finalist at Agribition. With as much notoriety 824’s dam has garnered through her progeny I feel 824 is starting to add to that legacy while at the same time just starting to create her own. We originally planned to offer just a flush on this female, but after some thought we felt we need to

Saras Dream name is synonymous in the show ring circles, and 2275’s dam would probably be at the top of the list when it comes to not only the Saras Dream’s but quite possibly one of the most dominant show heifers there ever was. CCC Saras Dream 5116 won just about everything there is, and her progeny have followed along in her footsteps.

Special thanks to Jamie and Susy Campbell and their sons Connery, Caley, Colby, and Crosby Campbell. Over the past several years the overwhelming help you guys have given has been invaluable. The boys have done everything with us and are always willing to do anything whether it’s jumping in a tractor, going to a show or just cutting the grass they are always there. The most important part is they have become so important to our kids. The boys have become like big brothers to Anna, Ryan, Clare and Jimmy. They take the time and effort to be a part of our family and for that we will be forever grateful.

THANK YOU
We are fortunate enough to have a huge group of family and friends that are always willing to help no matter what the task is, whether it’s cropping, showing, vaccinating calves, sorting cows, or even enduring sale pictures, they are always willing to help. Jack, Lauren, Robert, Ashley, and John (the newest member to the show team) and countless other friends we thank you!
