Welcome to the Arthur Polled Herefords Bull & Female Sale held on December 11, 2020 at the farm in Alida, Saskatchewan. We would like to start out with acknowledging everyone that has helped and guided us through this journey. First off our parents for all their continuous support and encouragement, we have enjoyed sharing this venture with all of you. All the breeders we have come to know and become friends with, your advice and help has all been greatly appreciated and truly respected. Allan & Kathy and Lockie & Gwen, your continuous mentorship and support will always be a key piece to our operation. To our continuous buyers off the farm for the past years, your support is whatâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s encouraged our operation. We are excited with our offering for our first sale, we have spent numerous years developing our program with the intent on retaining and procuring only the top producers that we see fit. In order to not have our quality in herd suffer we have never offered more than a handful of animals each year. It is thanks to that practice we feel strongly to be able to open the doors and start to offer our top progeny and
genetics from our entire herd. You will find exciting progeny from our sires such as Insight & Cartel who have both made their mark on the breed in North America. For our female offering we feel any of these girls will go on to produce top quality seedstock wherever they may end up. We are excited to welcome both Tiny Angus and Starry Cattle to this sale and future sales with a great group of animals on offer. The Nielsen family have picked off their top Angus bull calves for this offering and have an awesome set of calves that will fill your breeding needs. The Lamontagne family will have on offer their top Baldie replacement heifers as well as a group of Baldie Bred Heifers Both APH & Tiny Angus will be wintering all bull calves free of charge until all animals have passed their semen tests and health checks. We would like to welcome everyone to our 1st bull sale, off the farm. The bulls we are offering will be very functional and work in a variety of programs. Four of the bull calves are sired by Fleury Brutus 132B, a.k.a. McLovin’, who has flat out worked here! McLovin’s calves are hairy, sound and the easy fleshing type. The females we have kept are good uttered, productive mamas. We look forward to talking to you about these bulls, their mamas and our program. Actually, just cattle in general! The bull calves on offer are the very elite and have brought along with longevity in mind as they are sure footed, sound and out of the very best cow families that are extremely consistent. TERMS & CONDITIONS TERMS:
LIABILITIES:
The terms of the sale are cash, cheque, and wire transfers, payable at par at the sale location unless satisfactory payment arrangements have been made prior to the sale with seller, buyer and Bohrson Marketing Services. Bohrson Marketing Services reserves the right to require a certified cheque as settlement before releasing any sale cattle. Payment in full must be made before cattle can be released and shipped. Exchange rates will be announced sale day and the sale will be held in Canadian funds.
All persons attend the sale at the their own risk. ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Any announcement from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Buyers are therefore cautioned to pay attention to any such announcements. CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRY: A registration certificate issued by the applicable breed association and a certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer of each animal after final payment has been made.
BIDDING:
All animals to sell through the sale must be sold by auction with each animal selling to the highest bidder. Private sales will not be allowed except as otherwise provided for in the terms and conditions. No bybidding will be permitted. DISPUTES:
In cases of disputes, bidding will be reopened between the parties involved in the dispute. If no further bid is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid and the auctioneer’s decision will be final.
HEALTH:
All sale animals have met all necessary health requirements and it is the buyer’s responsibility and expense to determine health requirements for importing any animal into his province or state. Bohrson Marketing Services assume no responsibility for the health status of any animal in the sale. TRUCKING:
We will assist all buyers with arranging transportation. PURCHASER’S RISK:
Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold.
PAYMENT TERMS:
Cash or cheque paid in full on sale day unless otherwise discussed with APH.
INSURANCE:
We strongly recommend the buyer insures for full value on all purchases. ACCIDENTS:
