Losing Weight Made Easy It’s Magical…

I’ve known about Dr. Reggish for a few years and I’ve said I’m going to make an appointment. Finally I did and I wish I had done it 2 years ago. I’ve been battling being 50 lbs. overweight for years and I’ve done so many programs that I could write a book on what weight loss plans don’t work. So I tried Dr Reggish’s plan. A Kind of Divine Magic There we are in a healing session, me and a woman in her middle years. She is having health issues and traditional medicine isn’t helping her; it seems to be doing the opposite sometimes. I open up the connection between her Higher Self and God; inviting God to do the healing work, and ask the client’s Higher Self to show us what within her soul is blocking her from being whole.

Thus begins a kind of divine magic that is spiritual healing.

I am guided to an early age in her life where she is frightened and hurt. I spend some time discussing the situation with my client, her Higher Self and God to understand the circumstances that surrounded that trauma. When we are ready, I am guided to a place prior to the event to begin strengthening and preparing her soul, at that early age, to have a successful experience during that time of challenge.

Then we will be able to rework the experience retroactively in a totally new way!

I invite the client’s Higher Self to welcome a power animal that will awaken the inner strength the child will need. Bringing the power animal to the child, we teach her to incorporate its

gifts into her unconscious self. The spirit of the animal is really a facet of God which carries the animal’s instinctual qualities. This helps because it is in the instinctual self that people become damaged and blocked when young.

The power animal awakens new healthy instincts and teaches her young self to respond with strength and courage to the challenges to come.

I teach my client to go back to her child self and parent herself through the challenge, because she is someone who feels up to that task. If she wasn’t, I would do it for her, going back to that time and nurturing the changes needed. My client introduces herself to her child self, letting her know what is coming for her and explains that she will be okay, that she will be with her every step of the way. Then together we move forward in time through the circumstances; comforting, guiding and healing as we go. When the issues around that experience have been successfully navigated, the inner child begins to mature, rapidly growing through childhood and into adolescence.

Within minutes, hours or days this formerly damaged and stuck aspect of soul feels able to integrate into the adult personality, bringing a new strength, relaxation and freedom to my client’s adult life.

I work with her Higher Self and God to integrate these reclaimed qualities across time, as though they had always been present, rather than missing for so long. This allows a gentle experience for my client, but a very powerful change in her life. There will be new responses to challenges that are more mature and successful, and an experience of confidence that was never there before.

Now that the block has been removed from the soul pattern and aura, I work with God and the client’s Higher Self to resolve the physical issue. The releasing of the past trauma frees up the emotional and mental energies and unblocks the heart and immune system. The aura begins to recharge and her body rapidly regains energy and aliveness. This allows my client’s soul to own the places in her body which have been malfunctioning so that they can come into harmony with their true purpose. Healing energy is given and there is immediate improvement which includes a sense of lightness, peace, well-being and greater grounding. Spiritual vision shows the body coming back to life and over time health can be fully restored.

In order to complete the healing process, I check with the client’s Higher Self and God to see if there are other issues connected with this health challenge that should be addressed now or later. We look for genetic/hereditary influences, soul contracts and experiences in prior lifetimes among other potential issues to be resolved.

For this client, we have done enough for one day. She feels stronger but tired, like she’s been exercising and now is ready to rest. Her Higher Self suggests working again in a couple of months, after she has had time to integrate today’s healing.

When she returns next time, I will likely hear how she has been responding to life with greater power and confidence and her body is feeling better. Many times a client recovers fully from issues and their doctor decides they had diagnosed it wrong. Ah…. A successful bit of divine magic!

Whether for adults, families, children, pets or our Earth, each healing done spiritually helps others who are connected with them through their families and soul groups. At the higher levels of spirit we are all One and all healings are for everyone!

2. Develop a plan of action; what you need to do in order to come closer to that vision every day. Who do you need to become to experience your desire? Do something every day towards that goal, even if it scares you!

3. Spend time with your desire and develop more attention to it. Dream of it, describe it, feel it, visualize it. How does it look, feel? How are you in that experience?

4. Understand that your goal and desire are components in a process and success is along each step of the process.

5. Acknowledge yourself for each step you take towards it.

Congratulate yourself!

6. Every night, go to bed with thoughts and feelings of you already enjoying your goal and desire.

7. Wake up with gratitude knowing that today you are more prepared and close to your vision.

8. After gratitude, start your day with an intention towards that goal and desire. Allow that intention into your day.

9. Take increased action every single day, and with every action be aware of your state of mind. Is it in full alignment with what I want?

The elements of competition are right and wrong, win and lose. If you’re doing, “I need to be right” or “I need to not be wrong,” you’re doing competition.

To a lot of people, not losing is more important than winning.

When you feel you have to make something right, you are doing competition. If you feel you have to make something wrong, you are doing competition. When you say, “I believe she’s competing with me,” you’re doing competition.

What’s your point of view when you get another person to align and agree with you about the wrongness of somebody else and the rightness of you? Is it that you have value, or that you don’t have value? Your point of view creates your reality.

What are you creating with this point of view?

When you make the choice to go into, “I feel this way”, you are in the beginning of competition. When you start down that road, you’re going to try to make the way you feel, right.

You go out of question and into conclusion. When you go into conclusion, you now have to justify your decision to conclude.

When you begin to notice you are going down that road, you can go to a question like, “What else is possible here that I have not considered?” Time to nip it in the bud!

You can also ask, “What is this that’s coming up for me?”

This is where you can use a clearing statement to change the energy of the situation. What if what you are feeling is the result of buying someone else’s point of view or you’re doing competition?

competition with you, you could acknowledge that the other person is feeling the need to be right or not be wrong, or the need to win and to not lose.

What would it take for you to realize that you are a creator of magnitude and that you can choose something greater?

Colon Health A question I often hear from patients starts with, “My MD wants me get a colonoscopy. What do you think about that?” This is a good question with no easy answer - because while it would seem that “checking for problems under the hood” makes perfect sense, many procedures involve risks. This is why it’s so important to start taking care of your colon before you have problems.

Colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer in this country. With statistics like this, a timely colonoscopy could save your life. But most people don’t spend much time thinking about their colon. In fact, some people spend more time thinking about a tune-up for their car than about how to take care of their own body.

To help guide patients in their decision-making process, I ask if they have a family history of cancer, especially colorectal cancer. I also ask about bowel problems -- something they usually don’t want to talk about.

Guys are most reluctant to talk about problems in this area. But with an earlier mortality rate than gals, they need to start realizing that being tough means facing problems, not ignoring them.

Problems relating to the colon are often misunderstood. A healthy person should have between one and three bowel movements a day, with three actually being the healthier number.

When the waste products of the body aren’t eliminated, toxins begin to build up. Since cancers tend to develop in toxic environments, the relationship between constipation and colorectal cancer would seem obvious.

Cancer cells no longer coordinate with the other trillions of cells in your body.

Out of communication with your body, they operate on a more prime survival directive for themselves. In many cases, these wayward cells should have died but due to a lack of specific nutrients, they didn’t die. They are now called, rogue cells. It’s hard for the immune system, especially if it’s not working up to par, to find and get rid of these rogue cells.

To help patients decide whether or not it’s time for a colonoscopy or a colon check-up, I use the following checklist: A tendency towards constipation or its opposite, such as an irritable bowel or chronic diarrhea, almost always means that a check-up is in order.

However, occasional bouts of diarrhea often prove helpful when things of a dangerous nature are ingested and should be quickly eliminated without waiting for the normal processing time.

If this is the case, it can be a disservice to your body’s innate wisdom to take medications which block this clearing process.

If you eat conventional foods, processed foods, non-fermented soy or products containing soy, breads, and grains including wheat, corn, or white rice, get the checkup. If you smoke (anything), drink to an excess, work with petroleum based products, spend a lot of time sitting at work or home, have irritations in the anal area, such as chronic yeast infections, or eat at restaurants on a regular basis, get the check-up. I could continue, but you get the point….

Even if you see yourself in my checklist, you should still take preventative measures to avoid falling prey to all the problems that develop from having an unhealthy or stagnant colon. In addition, if you learn through a check-up that you have polyps, it is even more important to start taking preventative measures in order to reduce your chances of ending up with

colon cancer. Even when polyps don’t show pathology, it doesn’t mean you’re in the clear. If you have developed polyps, you could be doing something that is irritating your bowels. And this irritation may eventually lead to a much bigger problem, such as cancer.

In our Wellness Center and Chiropractic office, we don’t treat cancer. We treat people and can offer expert guidance in prevention. Once you’ve been diagnosed with a major disease, you’ve entered an arena that requires the help of people that deal with these specific problems.

Chiropractic adjustments and nutrition will help you to keep your body strong, but if you don’t dramatically change your lifestyle, you will forfeit your chances of winning both your life and your health back.

To keep from going down that road, it’s imperative to nourish your body. Look for sources of clean, organic foods and beverages that are free of non-food chemicals. These foods should include a balance of vegetables in a variety of colors, berries, and clean pastureraised proteins. Omega-3 fish oils are highly important in preventing colon cancers, as are the spices curcumin and turmeric. The absorption of curcumin and turmeric improves when taken with oil.

Avoid oxidized Omega-6 oils. Omega-6 oils include soybean, corn, peanut, safflower, and sunflower. The most dangerous of Omega-6 oils is typically found in restaurant food cooked in these oils and used repeatedly at high heat.

According to the Blaylock Wellness Report, the heme iron found in things like blood sausage, triggers intense free radical generation and lipid peroxidation which also promotes inflammation.

Before cooking steak, rinse it under water to wash the blood off and reduce the exposure to the iron. This is beneficial for many reasons but the blood issue is another one.

Chlorophyll has been show to inhibit the effects of the heme iron. Chlorophyll is found in green and leafy vegetables. We also have it as a supplement which I personally take every day as it is good for the blood and helps to detoxify the body.

It can also be used as a safe pain killer. Phytic acid found in oatmeal also inhibits heme. Oatmeal should be made from oat grouts not rolled oats; I will explain that further at the upcoming workshop.

Kundalini is the feminine life force energy within every cell of our being and the energy flow that keeps our chakras open and balanced. When our chakra system is open and healthy, our kundalini flows easily from one chakra to the next. When a chakra is blocked or closed, sometimes the kundalini can get stuck in this area, causing a build-up of energy, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

Negative core beliefs: Morpheus was right and not just in the fictional world of, The Matrix. This famous, insightful movie quote can also be applied to the real world, your personal world. I’m referring to the limiting beliefs you have about yourself and your reality that keep you a prisoner. If you have this type of mindset, you have lost before you even begin, and it’s all over before you even start.

If you allow thoughts of unworthiness, victimization and ineptitude to enter your mind, you will begin to cite examples and furthermore, find reasons to support your thinking; thus, you will start the process to create negative core beliefs about yourself and your world. When that happens, those negative core beliefs will sadly then become the foundation that your reality is built upon. The Ascended Masters of The Spiritual Hierarchy of Earth Part I We have never been left alone on this planet nor are we now.

There are always teachers greater than we are to guide, heal and teach us. The Adepts, Masters and Ascended Masters of the Spiritual Hierarchy of Earth are advanced men and women who live in retreats around the world, and have inspired and helped us down through the centuries. The self-appointed task of this body of enlightened individuals is the preservation and growth of spirituality on Earth.

It is said that when a student is ready the Master will appear.

I do not believe I was ready to come into the orbit and later become a close student of a Master of the caliber of Dr. George King. However, I was blessed that this happened to me and it has remained the most important part of my life.

Even as a child, I had no desire for a “normal” life and would shed tears at the thought of it. I wanted more; I was a seeker from my early years, and as a teenager I delved hungrily into different religions and spiritual philosophies until, at the age of 16, I first attended a lecture at The Aetherius Society, which I had heard about several years previously.

The Aetherius Society was founded in England where I was born and lived for most of my life. It was here in my early twenties that I first met the incredible Spiritual Master, Dr. George King, and was privileged to become a close student for over twenty-five years until his passing in 1997. It was at the American Headquarters of The Aetherius Society that I met my husband, Gary, who was also an ‘inner door student’ of Dr. King.

Dr. George King was not an ordinary man; not an ordinary Master. His own status was elevated and, like the other Cosmic Masters who have come to Earth – The Lord Babaji, The Lord Buddha, The Master Jesus, Sri Krishna, and others, he worked closely with the Spiritual Hierarchy of Earth. From our Master, we learned about The Cosmic Plan for the Peace and Enlightenment of Humanity and how we, ordinary people, could cooperate with it. We learned not only about the Masters and Ascended Masters of The Spiritual Hierarchy of Earth, but about how our own Master, himself of cosmic stature, worked with them.

Over the years, we also learned an important lesson; and that is, that to find the truth requires hard work and also a good measure of discrimination. Discrimination, or discernment, is one of the most important lessons for the spiritual seeker. The moment we switch off our intellect in favor of our imagination, we are doomed to waste time, energy and even money. While our imagination is a precious tool – our creative faculty that can be honed into powerful visualizations OCTOBER 2015

– our intellect is also a prize that, through concentration, contemplation and meditation, can guide us through the maze of psychic and Spiritual realms into the realms of truth and high intuition.

Nothing of any value is easy. It never has been and never will be. Lasting value is achieved through determined effort.

We may glimpse the mountain-top of Spiritual achievement and see grouped there the Masters and Ascended Masters who inspire us. However, their level of advancement, being far above ours, requires us to enhance our own level of Spiritual attainment in order to attune to these great Masters.

Discrimination is essential at this stage to realize the truth of this. A weekend course won’t enable us to contact Ascended Masters; neither an empty promise nor a fee. What will lead us ever closer to the Great Ones who watch over us are the keys of our Spiritual progress. These keys include selfless service, healing, prayer, breathing, concentration, contemplation and meditation, intuition and controlled imagination.

The Aetherius Society offers regular classes and lectures on these topics and there will be a one-day Healing Class on Saturday, October 3 (see separate ad for details).

How do we learn as much as we can about the Ascended Masters and why is this important? By glimpsing the fascinating world and inner workings of this Spiritual Brotherhood, we can unlock the previously secret doors which are now opening for seekers of truth and initiates worldwide. As we enter the Aquarian Age, the mysteries are being revealed; it is now the time for us to join together and work together in the light of the teachings and wisdom of the Masters, Ascended Masters of the Spiritual Hierarchy of Earth, and of the Cosmic Masters from beyond this Earth.

Can You Reincarnate on Other Planets?

Living on Earth is like attending a comic class; you have enrolled in a karmic school to work out basic spiritual lessons. I am sure you have heard the term, “We are spiritual beings having a physical experience,” which is very true at least from my perspective. But, take in consideration that you go to more than one school to get your higher spiritual degree which entails classes on many planets. Also, you can travel through the time-space continuum and experience learning in other dimensions within this universe to achieve your Ph.D. in Spiritual Enlightenment.

I have been asked many times, “When we complete our lessons on Earth, what’s next?”

Going through our Earth lives, we exist on a lower level of emotion, striving to evolve past karmic lessons. Our goal is to stay in faith, that we are more than a physical being and stay connected to the higher spiritual consciousness. The center of all knowledge and love is also known as “the universal mind”.

While mankind fights about the theology and rules that govern religious beliefs, absolutism causes stagnation in the ‘school of spiritual evolution’ which in turn creates the one thing that we are here to learn and overcome: fear.

As we live in chaos within our guilt ridden minds, we are certain God is going to destroy us at any moment. Once we allow for our minds to quiet down and reconnect with the higher conscientious, we release fear and start to manifest positive works within our lives. Throughout all of the difficulties and turmoil of this existence, we are all here to overcome fear. Love cannot blanket the emotion of the fearbased life. So first we need to remove fear, then love rushes in and evolves us to the next level of learning. At this point, you have graduated from the Earth school of karma and are now ready to move on to learn and experience life elsewhere.

Now we can reincarnate onto other planets as well as exist within different dimensions, even travel in time! When a person leaves the physical world of Earth, where does the spirit reside? Does it exist within a world much like the one here on Earth? Does it live in a house? Does it go through a similar life as it did while alive? I believe that most mediums will share what the spirit may want to share with a loved one, but how many have communicated with a spirit about where they are?

I have not only communicated throughout the years with people who have passed on, but I have also had my own death experience while in the hospital back in 1986. I was so blessed with receiving many answers to my questions while in-between the physical and spiritual world. CLIMBING KILIMANJARO PART 2 I began to practice my walking meditation and at the end of the second day felt stronger. We moved upward and could now see the planes of Kenya as trees disappeared giving way to brush and bushes. At times we walked through clouds. We approached Mawazi, Kilmanjaro’s little brother. As we got closer our guides told us we would walk on the saddle of Mawazi to Kili.

That night my sleep was poor again. I woke still fatigued. The next day, our third, we trekked for seven hours, mostly over a plain that looked like a child’s roller coaster. Its small peaks and valleys were deceptive, and more challenging than they looked.

Our strength was dissipated by the increase in altitude and I walked into the Kibo base camp, situated at 15,430 ft., barely able to put one foot in front of the other.

Kibo base camp looked like a shantytown. There were numerous small tent cities and pyramid shaped wooden huts, stuffed with climbers. I saw Brits, Europeans and Japanese all waiting in the lee of the summit for the final ascent. Many people were ill. I saw people throwing up, some wandering aimlessly and some being taken down to lower altitudes by stretcher. I fought my fear that this could be me.

We slept all afternoon and finally my mind surrendered to the fatigue. We were awoken for dinner, although at this altitude I could barely eat. Food repulsed me. I then returned to my tent to sleep for four more hours.

I was awoken by the blending of drums and chanting. It was midnight, Jan 1, and our African porters were welcoming the New Year. I awoke with strength from my sleep, put on my cold weather gear and moved to the mess tent. They fed us fruit and porridge but I had no appetite. Instead of eating I calmed myself for the final ascent. .We would climb all night, on the steepest terrain we had encountered, and summit at dawn.

I put on my headlamp and began. I looked up and saw a snake of lights moving up the peak, outlining the climbers who

The terrain was scree: sandy soil you walk up and slip. Large rocks provided an obstacle course, to climb over or walk around. Occasionally I bumped into the climber in front of me as he stopped, and I needed to refocus on being slow and steady measuring my breath as it moved in and out At times.

I silently chanted Om mani padme hum the basic chant used

by Buddhist monks to center the mind. At 6 AM I looked behind and saw a sliver of light chasing us over the Mawazi peak, which we had already passed. The sky grew brighter, and almost in a trance I looked up. The tranquil face of our lead guide Restus smiled, offered me his hand and I stepped up on Gillman;’s Point, at 18,800 feet having conquered the most challenging part of the mountain. It was 8 AM I surveyed Africa below me, drinking in it beauty. The words “I did it!” came into my head and I burst into tears. At first it was pure feeling without thought, and then the faces of those I love appeared and fed my tears. I could not stop crying and so moved off to myself, away from people, my tear filled eyes meeting the African sun.

We rested and then moved to conquer the final peak, Uhuru.

Two members of our party turned back too exhausted to move. At this altitude oxygen is reduced by 50% and all were fatigued. I pushed my self. We hiked along a ridge and as we moved higher we could see glaciers glinting in the son. Global warming is slowly destroying them and if this trend continues they will be gone in 15 years. We could see the peak now. The air was thinner and I barely put one foot in front of the other.

I rested below the peak and told my party I could not go on.

They encouraged me. I creakily pushed the long half mile to the top of Africa.We posed in front of a sign which announced our triumph at 19,340 ft. I forced a smile for the camera.

It was a dangerous return, climbing down. The scree slipped under my feet. Walking down was less tiring, but more dangerous. Fatigue and unsteady ground conspired to harm.

I picked my way down the three hours to base camp and then three more hours to the next camp where breathing was easier.

It was 4 PM; I had been hiking sixteen hours. I fell asleep exhausted and too numb to celebrate my victory.

The next day we hiked seven hours downhill over sharp rocks to the park entrance. Exhausted we signed the park roster testifying to completing our ascent. We received a numbered certificate That night my group and another group of Brits, who climbed along side of us, celebrated at the lodge. We exchanged war stories, e-mail addresses, and the fiction that we would all keep in touch. A good night’s sleep and we departed on our separate ways.

I left Africa and flew back to the United States. I was calm, centered but strangely detached form the world around me. I

return to work the next day. , having few thoughts of my trip, until someone asked me if “I had fun on my vacation/” Fun? , I realized there were really no moments of happiness. I was lonely traveling around the world by myself. I had not slept in a tent and on the ground since being a teenager at camp. I hated it then too. I never felt physically good, and emotionally I was numb I didn’t bathe for six days, and fought diarrhea. I had to wear a hat. So why did I do it?

It was only in retrospect I understood. I did not climb for fun, I climbed for challenge. Each touches a different aspect of your soul.

Fun is transient. It’s like the snapshots you take on vacations, put in an album and never see again.

Challenge is transformative. You change and are not the same .Through challenge you test body and resolve. You push beyond your limits, face your physical and emotional truths, which are only revealed in adversity and doubt. You clearly see your center, the naked core of who you are.

Down here there is ambiguity: illness and deterioration, betrayal and loss, humiliation and self delusion, Up there it is only one : you stop or you go, you summit or not, you live or you die. You face your limits and achieve absoluteness; you are there and there is nothing else.

Up there you face the clear mirror of revealing.

Dream the Possible Dream!

Dream time - a place where the impossible becomes possible and the incredible seems plausible. It is where our minds have no boundaries, predetermined thoughts or limitations.

We experience this type of dreaming during stage 4 of our sleep in the REM (Rapid Eye Movement) cycle.

For thousands of centuries, many cultures have revered dreaming as a method of receiving answers and gaining insight. They reviewed and evaluated bits and pieces of their dreams by interpreting the symbol’s meaning to gain an understanding of the dream as a whole. It is so important while we translate the overall meaning of the symbols in a dream, that we base it from our own personal standpoint.

Our dreams can and sometimes are as random as our own thoughts.

When the mind exists in the dream, no boundaries exist to censor our feelings, or question what we see or alter where we are. During the waking time, we use rational thoughts as a diversion when evaluating what is unfolding before us. In other words, dream time is our personal time where no judgment or consequences can interfere.

Do the answers to our questions lie within each of our dreams? Many believe we can and do find our own personal answers to our stumbling blocks, decisions or insights within the contexts of our dreams. In this state of being, we find a treasure-trove of information and answers. Again, keep in mind that dreaming does mirror our conscious mind. Having excessive chatter within it might have little bearing to our life as a whole.

Most people have no memory of their dreams; some recall bits and pieces

of the events that took place in the dream while others have the ability to recall it more clearly. Let’s explore dreams as a whole.

We receive dreams as a symbol to questions, concerns, or just for informational purposes. The messages are usually transferred through the most significant point of interest.

Then there are the people who retain the majority of their dreams. They are not any more experienced than you, it is just that they wake-up while dreaming or write down a few items in their dream book prior to SITTING UP. Studies show that it is crucial that you do not redirect the mind away from the dream and onto the thought of being awake. The physical motion of sitting in an upright position in bed acts as an energy slide, moving the reality of the dream further away from your memory as the physical reality becomes more apparent. Upon this change in direction, one can lose total memory of the dream.

Dream interpretation should be based from your own circumstances at that point in your life. Take a baby for example; a baby will symbolize a different meaning for individuals in different stages of their life.

GEMSTONE OF THE MONTH OPAL Characteristics: The Opal is considered a form of silica; it’s a hydrated amorphous with a water content ranging from 3 to 21% in weight. Because of this characteristic, it is classed as a mineraloid (mineral-like substance), rather than a mineral, with a vast internal structure composed of silica spheres; this makes it diffract light, contributing to varying optical densities from opaque to semi-transparent.

Opal’s color ranges from clear to white, gray to black, along with an array of colors such as: magenta, rose, pink, slate, blue, green, brown and olive. The whites and green being most common, black opals being the most rare.

Dr. Wayne Dyer...

We Will Miss You As I often say on my radio show, “Today's Inspiration” heard weekly on BodyMindSpiritRadio. com, everything can change in an instant—and on a late, sunny summer afternoon, it did.

I was checking my twitter feed and saw a post from Dr. Wayne Dyer, and I couldn't believe my eyes. I wondered, slightly panicked, if it was one of those false internet rumors that gets spread from time to time that turns out to not be true. It read in part: “Wayne has left his body passing away through the night.”

Unfortunately, it was true. Wayne Dyer passed away on August 29, 2015 in Maui, Hawaii at the age of 75.

He was an internationally renowned author and speaker in the fields of self-development and spiritual growth.

He authored over 41 books, including 21 New York Times bestsellers.

He created many audio and video programs, and appeared on thousands of television and radio shows. He also

had 10 PBS Specials which raised over $250 million dollars for public television.

He inspired and uplifted millions throughout his career.

I was one of them.

And like so many others around the world, even though I never had the personal pleasure to meet Wayne, I felt as if I knew him. His casual approach and ability to relate with his audience was just one of his many gifts that he so generously shared with all of us.

Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Wayne Dyer held a doctorate in educational counseling from Wayne State University and served as an associate professor at St. John’s University in New York. Through his early work in college teaching and clinical psychology, he discovered the need to make the principles of self-discovery and personal growth available to a wider audience. His first book for general readers, Your Erroneous Zones, published in 1976, became an international bestseller and launched his career as an author and speaker.

After publishing a string of best-selling books on the practical psychology of self-improvement, Dr. Dyer said that he felt a shift occurring in his thinking that led him to explore the spiritual aspects of human experience. He said, "My purpose is to help people look at themselves and begin to shift their concepts. Remember, we are not our country, our race, or religion. We are eternal spirits. Seeing ourselves as spiritual beings without label is a way to transform the world and reach a sacred place for all of humanity."

For me personally, he and I were connected through his brilliant thinking, wisdom and shared perspectives. I counted on his teachings to keep me uplifted and in a positive state of mind. I read his books, watched his lectures and when he spoke it went straight to my heart. His words made sense and encouraged me. They gave me the perspective I needed to look at life and keep expecting the best, to focus on the good and not dwell on the negative.

One of my all-time favorite Wayne Dyer quotes is: “When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change!” EXACTLY! It's all about perspective and attitude and how we create our own reality by what we focus on.

Even though Wayne Dyer's body is no longer with us, his teachings will live on. His enduring spirit and uplifting energy will no doubt help guide and carry us through for many years and generations to come.

Understanding Creation as Sequenced Mechanisms Have you ever wondered why people who are crossing a desert or are lost it in, see a mirage? Their physiological state, which occurs in dehydration, creates the need for the prefrontal lobe to see a mirage so that the person does not give up and die in the desert.

Decades ago, I read the book “Mutant Message Down Under”, in which the author joins the Aboriginal people of the outback. As part of her initiation, she must lead the tribe out of the desert, back to the mountain. One of the Aborigine people gives her a small stone to place in her mouth. She describes how the rock feels in her mouth and that the presence of the rock in the mouth created saliva, bringing relief. She further describes how focusing on the rock in her mouth, she leads the group out of the desert, back to the mountain.

The book leads the reader to believe that this process is due to Aboriginal magic. Even several decades ago when I read this book, I wondered and asked about the mechanisms that allowed placing the rock in her mouth to lead her to the mountain? All things that are created have a mechanism.

What was the mechanism that allowed her to find her way through the dessert? The 5th Vortex, a vertical energetic center at the base of the neck, is one of our mechanisms of “hearing” and interpreting the vibratory information from our environment.

The enamel of our teeth is part of a large sensing system in the body, which transmits the information to the 5th Vortex. The rock placed in the author’s mouth in the outback originated from the mountain and still contained the frequency of its original vibratory information of the mountain, including the physical location of the mountain. This information was communicated in a step-by-step, sequenced process. The frequency was transmitted via the enamel of her teeth, interpreted through her 5th Vortex, transmitted through the strains in her brain-stem to the space between the hypothalamus and the pituitary glands in the diencephalon part of the brain. Then the diencephalon part of the brain can do its job and lead the cognitive brain in the direction of the mountain.

So what does this have to do with seeing a mirage in the desert? When we are lost without a true mechanism of directing us to true awakening, our prefrontal lobe will see what is in front of us as what it needs. It will see the mirage. I challenge all of you lost, walking, or living without mechanisms; the challenge is to ask the essence of your soul if you are living in or walking towards a mirage. If so, it is time to wake-up to the true mechanisms of being embodied here on earth.

LISTEN UP - LISTEN IN Are you listening to your heart? Are you receiving the messages sent to you by your body? Most of us have not really thought much about receiving messages from our hearts or bodies. We are just beginning to reconnect and reclaim our innate power to create our own reality through our whole body wisdom.

We have been separated from ourselves. We have been disconnected from our hearts and disconnected from our bodies. We have, in essence, been head-strong. As children, we have very often walled-off our hearts in self-protection just to handle all feelings life brings that children are not equipped to handle. And although this helps at the time, the heart wall goes with us into adulthood.

The Aquarian Age of the Divine Feminine is now fully supporting all of us in living in our hearts, our intuition and bodies. Humanity is embracing itself! We are now supported in living inside-out instead of outside-in. There is an element of trust needed to venture beyond our personal, 3-D world, and this connection takes us beyond the personal and into the miraculous. This is the domain of the transpersonal and includes our connection to the Divine.

For me, listening in has radically changed my life and the way I continue to be of service. In 2011, I received an undeniable message to visit a small town at the foot of a sacred mountain in Northern California. As often as my mind tried to convince me not to go there, I finally followed my strong and insistent calling. Nine months later, I am here and now I work with others through the connections of technology, energy healing and the heart, in true inner peace.

Here’s to Change!

As the cooler air and the scent of fall is upon us, I am reminded that everything has a season, everything changes. Change seems to be one of the constants in life. Yet, it is often something we resist and this resistance can stop or slow our own growth.

About this time last year, we had just had a flood. You know, that flood in the Metro Detroit area. We had over 3 feet of water in a fully furnished basement filled with photos taken before WWII, first edition “rare” books, baby pictures, my husband’s archery equipment and all our camping gear, let alone all the items we’d stuffed into our overflowing basement. I was also in the van when it was flooded and ruined.

That night, I heard people bemoaning the losses they were perceiving. After the relief of knowing that all in my family were okay, including our cats, I chose to take this as a sign that my plan to purge the basement had a kick start from Source.

Lesson: be careful what change you wish for!

The next day brought out the best in our community as we helped each other in the process of bringing order back into our lives. Children came by with bottles of water. Neighbors shared their grief and emotionally supported each other. I am still grateful for the three young men who saw me struggling to carry waterlogged belongings to the curb and offered to, and did, carry out several couches and padded chairs, boxes and shelving that had been destroyed.

The van was apparently the object I was most attached to and I bemoaned its loss. Reluctantly, we looked to replace it. I ended up with an even more loaded van with a bumper to bumper life-time warranty! (My husband is thrilled! I will be driving this van until forever!) And, our insurance covered most of it.

What I’m really pointing out here is that I CHOSE to see and experience the positive in this experience and focused on what I could release. I looked for my lessons in this holy encounter. This change to our lives also allowed me to work more on releasing attachments; to really, mindfully choose what I am valuing and how I want to spend my time. I took this opportunity to determine what is important to me.

Change is always occurring for our own learning. This change can seem positive or negative. It’s all how we judge it. I have a client who lost his job and was desolate. Yet, this

was a job he no longer felt value for, had been stagnant for awhile in it and was just keeping it to pay bills. It no longer brought joy to his heart. After the grieving process, we started on gratitude, looking at what his values were and then put it out to the universe for him to obtain this job. He kept his faith in our Creator, and do you know he got the job of his dreams with double the salary and better benefits within weeks!

Isn’t this a fairly common story? How many do you know this has happened to? What about you?

Ever have a door close to have one open to something even better? Keep the faith. What may seem like a change you don’t want can actually open doors to a life you never thought you’d have.

When you think about it, even positive change can feel threatening! How about your new baby, new job, getting married? All are changes for your own growth! Need More Joy? I watched as I tried to push my dead-lift weight up from 200 to 220 pounds. I could not do it. Then, as I added 5 lbs. at a time, I made it up to the 220. It amazes me how a slower pace leads to GREATER results. I also see that in yoga, as I gently go where my body is guided, I yield deeper and deeper into an embodied presence. We see this in agriculture and over-fertilization; how the push to grow vegetables faster leads to less nutritious and tasteful products. In spiritual growth, I also see the deeper I let go and trust life...all my needs are met. It seems paradoxical... the deeper the yield... the slower the pace... the greater the results!

If we remain mindful and humble, Life will present exactly what will align us with our dreams, visions and goals... but... only IF we remain willing to grow... gently, progressively.

Your willingness to grow, let go, and do what is in the moment aligns you with your highest destiny. You do have free will AND there is a benevolent flow that carries you. You have free will choice to forgive yourself. You have free will choice to slow down, tune out of technology and tune into your heart. However, as you practice this free will choice you DO NOT have to know the whole plan. You can’t. Shutting down, apathy, rushing, and “business as usual” will not change your life. You do have the power to change your life. (Yes... you, who is reading this.) or “I am ready to live my fullest life,” the ‘shift’ will hit the fan occasionally! Stay ON the “pottery wheel” of Life. Life will show you limiting beliefs you are holding. (For example: “I’m too old,” or “I don’t have enough.”) Don’t try to analyze or rationalize limiting beliefs. Give them a “big hug” and “pat on the head” and let them go. Choose to open to Life/God each day. As you grow and let go... you enter into a unified field of Creation or Grace.

When you don’t let go of limiting belief systems, you deny life force. A deep bow to all who are willing to do their inner work, love themselves, and give love. The world thanks you. You are the way in which the universe experiences its own unique magnificence.

(I can feel how much the world needs you. Needs you to love you... to shine and express. I can feel how the animals, children and earth are affected by your spiritual growth. You do matter. You showing up today... matters.)

It is very common for people to say, “How do I be happy?” or “How do I get________ to manifest?” when they begin to open to the possibility that a greater life is possible. The asking of “how” can trap you into never actually moving forward. Life gives moment by moment guidance. You must slow down enough to hear it. Something to stop the “business as usual” is to practice being still for ten minutes 2x day and/or spend a day on self growth. There are two one-day retreats in October at Accepted As I Am center.

Growth and challenges are NOT a sign that you are going in the wrong direction, dear friends. When you say to the universe, “I am ready to change,”

Life does not give you an outline from beginning to end. Growth can be scary. However, the cost of shutting down and giving-up is a far greater risk.

One of the greatest things we can do to ensure our happiness is to hold in the front of our awareness that EVERY life event is an opportunity to become more ourselves..... more love, more forgiveness, more beauty, more God. Every relationship is a divine appointment.

Life-God has a great plan for you; dream big, take daily steps, and BE PATIENT. Why are you in such a hurry?

Slow down and enjoy your life. Joy is actually one of the quickest ways to open to your desires.

In twenty-five years of service I’ve learned the incredible benefit of allowing suffering to break open my heart, but in general, to live in JOY. Seeing the suffering (of loved ones, animals, children etc.) while holding an EMBODIED vision of joy, we powerfully affect what we view! Empathy does not mean to feel sorry for another, but rather to feel that person as you.

The world’s pain/darkness can be used to deepen your connection to Love, Life, and your Authentic Self. Mentoring a religious leader I realized that the benefit of suffering could also be called, “to suffer for Christ”. This does not mean suffering makes you “more holy” or “better.” This spiritual alchemy is similar to Buddhist Tonglen meditation practice that directs you to breathe-in the suffering of the world.

You will find that letting yourself open to pain sheds limitations and loneliness, and paradoxically, leads to greater joy. When we are in relationship with our natural world and people, we feel connected, supported, and grounded.

When we try to “rise above” or “transcend,” we repress separation and pain deep into our tissues. Rather than a spiritually transcendent God that declares life as “an illusion” and something to survive until you

go to heaven, the Divine Mother embraces life’s beautiful messiness; she suffers with us. Body awareness, self acceptance, feelings, and sexuality could all be called, mothering principals.

Described by many different terms, the mother principal has been removed from religion, western medicine, and sexuality. “The rise of the feminine principal,” “divine feminine,” or “cosmic mother” is also held in images of Mother Mary, Quan Yin, Mary Magdalene, or Mother Earth. Just as Mother Mary birthed Christ, The Cosmic Mother is birthing Christ Consciousness on the planet. In the Divine Mother’s bosom, all religions, all sexualities, and all expressions are loved and accepted. The Earth is sacred. Your emotions are holy messengers. The Divine Mother is felt in listening to our bodies’ wisdom, sexual acceptance, and self acceptance. “She” holds the sweet union of spirit and matter.

Have a high vision for your life, slow down, take baby steps and let people help you. You can be in joy and get everything “done.” Take time to connect into what is real and true for you. When you approach yourself with empathy, acceptance, and patience, a deeper connection to your true Authentic, Magnificent Self is remembered. Please invest in yourself and spiritual growth; it is well worth it!

Pumpkin Pumpkins are believed to have originated right here in the Americas, thousands of years ago. They were cultivated along river and creek beds along with sunflowers and beans. Most people think of pumpkins as the carving ones we get at Halloween. But the smaller variety, pie pumpkins, are the ones that work best when cooking.

To make your own pureed pumpkin, cut the pumpkin in half, lay flat side down on a cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour, until fork tender. Let it cool, then scoop out the flesh.

Pumpkins have some powerful healing properties. One cup of pureed pumpkin contains two times the recommended daily intake of Vitamin A. This helps promote good vision and can slow down the decline of retinits pigmentosa (the slow decline of the retina function). High in fiber, pumpkin can help lower blood pressure, help reduce high cholesterol, and promotes a healthy heart. Very high in potassium and Vitamin C, this sweet, orange vegetable will help boost your immune system. And being high in beta-carotene, an antioxidant, pumpkin can help prevent some types of cancers.

You can use pumpkin in just about any recipe that calls for winter squash. Cut in cubes, pumpkin will impart a naturally sweet taste in soups, casseroles, roasted vegetables, and bean dishes. Using pumpkin in desserts is probably everyone’s favorite way to consume them. This cookie recipe looks cute as a Halloween decoration and also tastes great.

Pumpkin Spice Oatmeal Cookies 1/2 cups dried apricots

1/4 cup organic canola oil 3/4 cup brown rice syrup 1 cup pumpkin puree 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. ginger

1/4 tsp. cloves pinch allspice pinch sea salt 1 1/2 cups rolled oats 2 cups oat flour raisins to decorate

Put in a food processor: dried apricots, canola oil, brown rice syrup, pumpkin, spices and sea salt. Puree until apricots are chopped very small. Put in a mixing bowl the rolled oats and oat flour. Pour the pumpkin mixture in and mix all together.

Spoon the dough onto an oiled cookie sheet. With the back of a spoon, push down on the cookies to create a flat top. Take raisins and decorate the cookies to look like Jack-O-Lantern pumpkin. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Let cool before you serve and eat them.

Intuition: Snapping That Rubber Band Recently, I had the opportunity to talk to a client who felt intuitive, but had no interest in fully developing or working with it. This surprised me until I realized this person’s biggest obstacle was a lack of understanding and fear.

This brings me full round to the topic of this month’s article, What is intuition and do we all have it? My answer to this question is a firm, Yes. We all have intuition within us. I like to picture our intuition as a small rubber band. The more we work with it, the more it will stretch. If we do not work with it at all, it will still remain, but will stay the basic rubber band we were born with.

Intuition is the ability to hear, feel, smell, taste, etc. something beyond our perception. It is accessing the subconscious and the higher divine. It is pulling energy to you and being able to interpret it as a message whether it is about the past, present, future or beyond.

Many people fear working with their natural intuition or do not know where to start. Start by meditating. Although, I know this is not the easiest task for most, it is possible for all. Try five minutes a day to sit quietly and visualize that rubber band within you. Where is it located, what does it look like, what does it tell you about yourself -- try stretching it.

Another way to best work with your intuition is by starting with a tool. If you are hearing a message but have no way to validate it, you will most likely ignore it. Work with a tool. It is, in

a way, solid proof in front of you saying, “Hey, I agree with what you are getting too!”

Always keep an open mind to the fact that your intuition is such a natural part of you. It is like an extra limb, and a well-practiced doctor will always recommend that you exercise all of your limbs. Whereas, a well-practiced intuitive will recommend that you exercise the “limb” of your intuition; I like to think of it as exercising an extra arm.

Do not fear what you are receiving.

We all have those messages that we do not like, but the universe is saying, “Hey, maybe if we throw enough at you, you will finally pay attention.” If I told you tomorrow that you will crash your car, or that you will win a million dollars, which outcome are you more likely to pay attention to? See, the universe is not saying, “This is inevitable,” it is just trying to get you to open-up and listen.

My best advice to someone who is trying to open-up to the world of their own intuition and gifts is this, Be proud.

Do not shun what you were naturally born with. There are others out there like you trying to work with their intuition as well. You are not alone but are divinely unique and that my friend, is a blessing.

Therapeutic Pillows Centuries ago, the wealthy and wise stuffed their mattresses with sweet grass and roses to encourage restful sleep. In addition, soothing herbal combinations were sewn into special “sleep” pillows.

Therapeutic (medicinal) pillows offer more than encouraged sleep. They provide comfort and alleviate pain. One of the best-known medicinal pillows was the Spelt pillow recommended by Hildegard von Bingen to ease neck and shoulder pain in the twelfth century. The Abbess Hildegard of Bingen (1098-1179) and Sybyl (Healer of the Rhine) was a noted mystic, scholar, prophet, composer, moralist, herbalist and scientist. She was considered to be the first German Woman Physician, as well as the mother of German Botany.

Her suggested treatment using Spelt pillows is still practiced today.

Therapeutic pillows stuffed with grain or seeds known to retain heat are used to alleviate circulatory disorders, back, shoulder, and neck pain, as well as headaches. Their warming qualities work equally well on sinus and ear infections, toothaches, and menstrual cramps. Medicinal pillows stuffed with herbs release certain essential oils when heated, which are responsible for the particular herb’s healing properties. The small air pockets contained within the filling ensure that the pillow will conform precisely to the shape of your body.

Making your own therapeutic pillow is fairly simple and can be fashioned from a variety of material. Favorite fillers include spelt, dill, thyme, mugwort, chamomile flowers, lavender and hops. Thyme w w w. B o d y M i n d S p i r i t G U I D E . c o m

contains the mucolytic agent thymol, chamomile flowers contain an antiinflammatory essential oil that relieves pain, and the blend of mugwort, lavender, and chamomile is believed to induce vivid dreams. Spelt (a grain found in health-food stores) in a pillow contributes its pain-relieving benefits due to its high proportion (as high as 90%) of silicic acid. Spelt also retains its heat for up to three hours.

To warm your completed pillow, carefully place in an oven set on low, or gradually heat in a microwave.

A thyme pillow can loosen mucus and facilitate expectoration. Wash a generous number of thyme sprigs and pat dry with paper towels. While the sprigs are still damp, fill a small (travel) sized pillowcase. Heat in a warm oven and then place it over the rib cage. Cover with a blanket. Re-heat and Repeat one time, then discard the thyme sprigs. To help with sleeplessness, fill a pillowcase with hops and lavender. Hops releases the calming ingredients of lupulin and humulin. Lavender in a non-specific, personally desired amount will cut and sweeten the hops’ strong aroma. No heating is necessary, just place under your regular bed pillow and drift away.
