If we want to separate ourselves from the competition and create the ultimate competitive edge we must make the effort to go the extra mile. It is the best way to set our brand apart. We believe that if all team members make the effort, we’ll create the best customer experience in the flooring industry. Ray Mancini, Jr. CEO and President Every team member has a role and as the customer’s orders flow through our business model we must add value at every step. This involves small details like measuring the roll twice and cutting once, reading the order back to the customer to make sure it is accurate, double checking the product and cleaning off dirty merchandise before loading the truck. This attitude of tending to the small details adds up to an incredible customer experience.
This is how we differentiate ourselves from the competition. As Roger Staubach says, “there are no traffic jams along the extra mile.” As we enter the second half of 2026, let’s all strive to go the extra mile to deliver an exceptional customer experience that is second to none. I am confident that if we work together and each contribute, we will have a successful and enjoyable second half. It requires hard work and commitment, but it’s worth it.
