One Company, One Plan, One Culture
A MESSAGE FROM RAY MANCINI, JR. CEO
“Great things in business are never done by one person. They’re done by a team of people.”– Steve Jobs

Ray Mancini, Jr. CEO and President
This quote holds profound truth, emphasizing the significance of teamwork in achieving success. While one person can make a meaningful impact, it is the synergy of a team that propels an organization forward. As we embark on the journey of 2026, I firmly believe that this principle should resonate throughout our organization.
To realize our vision of delivering the Ultimate Customer Experience (UCX) for our valued customers, we must transcend functional silos and foster collaboration across departments such as customer service, warehouse, and delivery. By doing so, we can create a seamless and efficient customer journey.
One of our core values is collaboration and communication, which are essential components of effective teamwork. We prioritize respectful and open dialogue, actively listening to each other’s
perspectives, and making decisions that prioritize the customer’s needs.
Our approach is not about adhering to specific methodologies or practices, but rather about adopting the UCX mindset, which prioritizes the customer’s experience and operates from a customercentric perspective.
To ensure a successful 2026, it is crucial that we prioritize communication and collaboration within our team. By aligning our efforts, fostering engagement, and demonstrating unwavering passion for delivering the Ultimate Customer Experience, we can create a customer-centric environment that enhances their experience and drives business success.
As always, we express our sincere appreciation for your contributions and remain committed to achieving a prosperous 2026. Thank you.

“If it is to be it is up to me.”
OUR VALUES IN ACTION
VALUE ICONS
At UCX, we’re more than just a flooring distributor. We’re a team dedicated to empowering our employees, fostering a positive work environment, embracing change, going the extra mile, collaborating effectively, and celebrating our successes. These core values guide our decisions and actions every day.

Take Ownership
We take accountability and personal responsibility in a high-energy, self-sufficient culture. We take action and make things happen.
Be a Good Human
We act with honesty, integrity, transparency, empathy, respect, reliability, and inclusivity.
Be
Adaptive to Change
We understand that change is the only constant and that embracing change is an opportunity to evolve.
Values in Action

Be a Good Human
At our Pompton Plains, NJ location, Marisa Miraglia is living out our Be a Good Human value in a powerful way. In 2026, the nonprofit organization she founded—Pack the Bus for Santa—will celebrate its ninth year of giving back to the inner-city community of Paterson, New Jersey.
“Be a Good Human” is more than just a phrase at UCX; it is a core value focused on acting with integrity, honesty, transparency, empathy, respect, and inclusivity to build trust. This principle supports a “people-first” culture that prioritizes ethical, reliable, and empathetic interactions—not just with our customers, but within the world around us.

Go the Extra Mile
We plan to win and maintain market leadership. That determination helps us push through when things get tough or we hit unexpected barriers.
Collaborate & Communicate
We prioritize collaboration and communication because they drive performance, momentum and innovation—and stop us from being complacent.
Celebrate Success
We judge success by what we collectively achieve. By marking our successes, we reinforce what makes us strong.
Marisa brings this value to life through her mission to provide hope, joy, and meaningful support to children and families who may otherwise go without. By hosting annual Halloween and Christmas events that offer essential resources alongside holiday cheer, she demonstrates exactly what it means to lead with inclusivity and empathy.
We are incredibly proud to have Marisa on our team. Through Pack the Bus for Santa, she continues to show how giving back strengthens communities and creates a lasting, positive impact—one family, one season, and one act of kindness at a time.

WHATS EVERYONE CAULKING ABOUT
From the warmth of our holiday gatherings to the icy grip of the recent East Coast storms, this winter has certainly given us plenty to talk about. Here is a look back at how the UCX family celebrated the season—and how we’re weathering the freeze!
Holiday Party Buffalo
Nothing brings a team together like good food and great company. The Buffalo, NY team celebrated the holidays with a special culinary experience at the Auburn Watson Culinary Center.

Cheers to 60 Years!
Happy milestone birthday to Brenda Williams in our Glen Burnie Customer Service department!

Holiday Party: Mansfield Holiday Lunch
It was a full house in Mansfield! The corporate office hosted a festive holiday luncheon that brought the team together in a big way. Colleagues traveled from all across the Northeast to join the celebration, making it a special afternoon of connection and holiday cheer.

Holiday Party Glen Burnie
The Glen Burnie team truly outdid themselves this year, decking the halls from top to bottom with incredible festive flair! Their dedication transformed the office into a winter wonderland, spreading holiday cheer to everyone who walked through the doors.

A massive winter storm hit most of the UCX footprint on January 25th and 26th, sending most of us (Not you Orlando!) into frigid cold temperatures and lots of snow and ice. Most of us got a “snow day” on Monday as we dug out. Here are some pics from around the company!

Pompton Plains, NJ: Flanked by mountains of snow, but the welcome mat is dug out and ready.
Glen Burnie, MD: Wall-to-wall snow, but the loading docks are open for business.
Wadesboro, NC: A glazed look at the roads.
Mansfield, MA: Blustery business as usual.
Buffalo, NY: The weather outside is frightful, but the view from our showroom is actually pretty delightful.
UCX PETS
From snow-loving adventurers bundled in sweaters to professional snugglers refusing to leave the couch, our UCX pets have very different strategies for handling the winter chill! Check out the adorable entries for this month’s cold-weather photo contest.
