Names to Know at the Club
Dear Premier Club Members, The fall season is officially in full swing, and the holidays are right around the corner. No matter what your interests, the Club gives you great opportunities to share the holiday spirit with like-minded members – while avoiding those big holiday crowds. That’s just one reason this season at the Club is so special! Our calendar has never been as active as it is now, with everything from new cooking classes at Sur la Table to Thursday night Tastings at the Monkey Bar — now with bocce! Members can also explore exciting new destinations by participating in the brand-new BCL Travel Club. We continue all-day Taco Tuesday at Shaka, which features $5 tacos and half-price margaritas, and friendly Wednesday night bocce tournaments are in full gear at the Monkey Bar. Weekends are also alive and kicking – literally! You can kick off with 501 East’s new Saturday brunch, and/or stick with their popular brunch on Sundays between 11 and 3. Game-day menus at 501 East, Bar Luna, and Shaka will help you get your fill of delicious fare in addition to your fill of football. And then there are all the incredible special events on the fall/holiday calendar! I’ll mention just a few here, but please look through the whole BCL and make your reservations soon. We welcome back the snowbirds among us with the annual Poolside Dinner & Party on November 11. On November 17, please plan to attend one of the first events in our new Corks & Conversation wine dinner series at the Palm Court, featuring live music, signature dishes from Resort restaurants, and fine wines from acclaimed vintners such as Rodney Strong and The Alex Cooper Project. Thanksgiving weekend is bursting at the seams with fun: Grand Buffets, beach bonfires, the Christmas tree lighting, plus another weekend of Sunset Rituals! On Saturday, November 26, special guest Artist-in-Residence DJ Gotta visits Boca from the French Riviera and spins under the stars at Beaches Bar. Gotta will also appear afternoons at the Beach Club over the long weekend. Finally, in December our newly refurbished golf course opens for business! We hope you’ll agree that the wait was well worth it, and we’ll be sure to share more information as we approach the grand reopening.
