Dear Premier Club Members, Summer is more than halfway over already! We hope you’ve been able to take advantage of our great summer programming so far, including “kids eat free,” classic car shows, Texas Hold ‘Em, fireworks, and so much more! We’re gearing up for the big Labor Day weekend, the highlight of which will be a huge LobsterBash featuring the music of award-winning country/rock band Loving Mary. You’ll want to make reservations soon, because this Bash is sure to be very well-attended. Your Club renewal mailing will be arriving soon! Like last year, you won’t need to take any action if you intend to continue your membership — all of your subscriptions and payment schedules will be automatically renewed. We will send a follow-up communication with instructions on how to make changes to your membership by mail or online, should you wish to do that. Dr. Kirt Rusenko, a marine conservationist from Gumbo Limbo, will be on hand to provide interesting and informative insight into the lives of the endangered sea turtles that make their nests on Florida’s shores. Familiar Faces Take on New Responsibilities

at Morimoto and Serendipity

Assistant Mangers Jasmine Feasel and Michael Longinos had both been members of the team at the Resort & Club before being promoted. Jasmine grew up in the food industry, working in the restaurant her family owns in a small town in Northeast Ohio. After finishing her schooling, she headed south, landing a job as a beach greeter at the Boca Beach Club in 2011. After a few years at the beach, she made the move to Lucca, working her way up to the position of head hostess/supervisor. Last year, she became an assistant manager at Serendipity. Despite the added responsibilities she now has as an assistant manager of both Serendipity and Morimoto, she still finds time to share days full of sunshine and fun with her two sons.

Boca’s Ballroom Battle Returns Community leaders compete in dance competition to raise scholarship money

In a lively competition patterned after the popular “Dancing with the Stars” television program, eight of the community’s most recognizable personalities will put on their dancing shoes as Boca’s Ballroom Battle returns to the Boca Raton Resort & Club on August 20. All proceeds from the event, which is presented by Auto Nation, Inc., will benefit the George Snow Scholarship Fund, which provides educational grants to deserving young scholars. The popular annual event pairs community leaders with professional dancers from the Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Boca Raton. Competitors are given a series of dance lessons to perfect a routine and then compete for the fundraising “Mirror Ball” trophy at an elegant cocktail reception and dance showcase.
