am a full time student at Weber State in Ogden, O-Town Utah! I am majoring in communication and minoring in english, yikes!

Right now, I’m working in the deli at an unnamed grocery store near my house. If you can guess which one, I’ll give ya some samples! When I’m not at school or work, I’m doing homework in the basement of my parent’s hippie home, hanging with friends at the mall, or climbing at the rock gym, my new hobby. If the weather is majorly snowy, I like to hit the slopes on my snowboard with my brother at Snow Basin or Powder Mountain. I love to be active, obviously, so I’m taking a Tai Chi class right now. It’s like slow motion karate, for old people, but it is pretty fun. That’s about it for now.

recipe

roques-Monsieur Serves 2

Sliced Swiss cheese, or gruyere, if you want to get really French about it.

3 oz. Canadian bacon.

4 slices bread.

2 large eggs.

Arrange slices of cheese on bread, then layer of ham, topped with more cheese and bread.

Beat eggs in shallow dish. Dip sandwiches in egg mix, both sides.

My education as a French chef began at a young age.

Transfer sandwiches with spatula to skillet on moderate heat and cook until golden brown on bottom (3 to 4 minutes.) Turn over sandwiches and cook until golden brown on other side.

Croques-Madame is the same recipe, minus ham.
