The game is over played over 4 seasons (rounds). The board is randomly created by a number of trail boards that you layout starting from the trail head to the end board. Each player controls 2 hiker tokens that starts at the trail head. On your turn you move your hiker token along the trail to a location and pick the available resources at the location and carry out the action presented at the location. Some limitations in movement are 2 Players generally cannot occupy the same location (There are campfire exceptions per round per player. There are 3 park cards that players can choose from when they gather the resource required. Once a player has the required resource, they can take the card into their possession for the victory points it provides. In the event you do not have the required resource at the end of the round you can take the card anyway and place it beside you exhausted until such time you are able to pay its cost. There are penalties for not completing a park card. There are other cards that introduce additional effects into the game that makes it more changeling, these are the Canteen cards which provide you some addition resource when water tokens are placed on them. Season cards that provide starting random resources placed on the trails for each season. Year cards which provide a secret objective for each player to additional points at the end game. Pictures when taken during your trek provides you the camera token
