Dear Players, Coaches, Families and Fans, I am delighted on behalf of City Council and the residents of New Westminster to extend warmest greetings and best wishes to players of the 2019 Burnaby New Westminster Ringette Association’s Annual Tournament, to be held on November 8 – 11, 2019. As a city, we recognize the importance of encouraging and maintaining a healthy lifestyle and involving our children in organized sport and activities. The fastest team sport on ice – ringette emphasizes the play-making and skating skills of its players. The game brings value to our youth by further developing their life skills which will serve them well in the years to come. Special thanks and congratulations to the coaches, organizers and volunteers for their hard work and dedication in organizing this tournament and for continuing to make this exciting sport a part of New Westminster. I hope the 2019 Tournament provides everyone with good fun and keen competition. May you take home many fond memories from your experience and the City of New Westminster. Good luck to all the teams!
