BLESSINGS & GREETINGS OFFICERS, PASTORS, DELEGATES AND VISITORS!
It is with great joy and high enthusiasm that I welcome this opportunity to partner with our Congress President, Rev. Damon M. Moseley and our Congress of Christian Education in this Joint Session! What a week of great expectation: Worship, Instructions, Preaching, Fellowship, Women, Laymen, Youth & Young Adult, Ushers, Nurses, and Music united as one under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, Offering Christ Our UNITED Praise (Acts 2:1-4).
Again, during this time, we want to remind each other that we are the light of the world and salt of the earth, making a difference in so many lives (Matthew 5:13-16).
So, as we gather, please let us not forget our focus! We want to continue making Ministry Better For Everyone. So, I continually ask your prayers for our State Convention and Congress leadership including myself.
A very special thank you to Rev. Dr. Steve Bland, First Lady Bland and the Liberty Temple Baptist Church Family for your kindness and hospitality shown to us from the beginning of this process until now. Thank you State Director Cecelia Dawson for your diligence in planning and keeping us on point.
And again, big shoutout and thank you to our State Congress President, Rev. Damon Moseley; Women’s President, Sis Joanna Woods; Laymen’s President, Deacon Monte Marable; Youth and Young Adult President, Dr. Antoinette Pearson; Ushers President, Sis. Evelyn Smith; Nurses President, Sis. Shirley Sorrell; and Music President, Bro. Bill Moss.
Again, Thank You Everyone for Sharing!

Greetings from The Youth & Young Adult Ministry President
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Grace and peace to you from God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ!
It is with great joy and heartfelt gratitude that we welcome you to the 78th Annual Session of Baptist, Missionary and Education State Convention of Michigan. It is within this annual gathering where we come together to celebrate the legacy of our Christian existence, reflect on our transformative impact in our communities, and embrace bold, Spirit-led innovation as we press forward in doing the will of God.
For generations, our faith communities have stood as beacons of light, hope, and love. Through prayer, service, and unwavering faith, we have nurtured souls, empowered families, and helped shape a more just and compassionate world. This convention honors that rich heritage while challenging us to envision new ways to strengthen our witness and expand our reach in a rapidly changing society.
As we convene in worship, learning, and fellowship, may we be reminded that our mission is not confined to the walls of our churches. The world is our mission field—and now more than ever, God is calling us to be courageous, creative, and united in His purpose. This definitely holds true with engaging our youth and young adults in our various churches and communities. Let us encourage one another to lead with vision, to serve with humility, and to innovate with conviction—always anchored in the Word of God and led by the Holy Spirit.
We are excited for what God will birth in and through us during this convention. May this sacred time stir your heart, renew your strength, and inspire a deeper commitment to the kingdom work that lies ahead. Welcome, and may God bless our B.M. & E. Convention abundantly.
Servant, Dr. Antoinette Pearson, Youth and Young Adult Ministry President
