ECA' S COMMUNITY CONNECTIVITY CAMPAIGN On March 13th the Early College of Arvada announced it would transition to remote learning to address growing concerns of COVID-19. Since this transition, a light has been shed on the inequalities members of our own community face. ECA has worked diligently to make sure all our students have the resources they need so our teachers can bring the classroom to them. At present, ECA has provided 48 Chromebooks, 3 wifi hotspots and addressed the food needs of 8 families. Unfortunately, this list of needs continues to grow as the deadline for Colorado’s shelter in place extends further into the future. ECA wrestles with its own funding and resource challenges to provide technology and life essentials to its remote learners during this crisis.Â
