The service costs approximately $13 million per year We undertake approximately 1200 missions per year Since the Service's inception in 1975 no one has ever paid to be transported • 60% of the Service's funding is provided by the community through one off and ongoing donations, payroll deductions, event attendance, supporting our volunteers, and our money tins within the community Your support allows us to attend to various missions ranging from transporting a critically injured patient from a motor vehicle accident to a new born baby requiring life saving intervention.

Today we welcome Newcastle Jets Academy players, officials, supporters, and sponsors to Magic Park.

In seasons past, squad rotation and A-League squad commitments have hindered the Jets Youth from figuring as premiership contenders. This season, with the exception of the Jets vs Hamilton game where several of the Jets lads travelled with the senior team to Brisbane, the Jets have consistently fielded their strongest side, evident by results so far, 5 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses and are now serious premiership contenders.

For Ruben and his Magicians it is a top of the table clash for the second week running, and will be buoyed by last weeks ground out Elders Charity Shield victory. Magic’s captain Piddo returns from suspension in the main team inclusion news. Congratulations to Magician Ty Cousins who made his first grade NPL debut last weekend. (James) Chill, Jutty (Broadley), and (Alex) Kanta are all unavailable for selection as they battle to regain fitness due to recent injuries. Our thoughts are with Magic Young Gun Jacob Dowse who is out for the remainder of the season due to a knee injury.

SHIELD UPDATE

Congratulations to Broadmeadow Magic and Lambton Jaffas football clubs, together we managed to smash through the $40K mark for donations to date towards the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service. Truly a fantastic effort, we managed to raise over $8200 last weekend. Special thank you to all who supported this initiative, from everyone who came to Magic park and bought a raffle ticket, those who donated prizes, and auction bidders.

A special thank you to Steve Cucumanovski of Elders Real Estate Lambton, your dedication to this event has enabled an outstanding collaboration between the football community and one of the regions favourite frontline emergency services. Well done to all!!!

POLES ARE UP- LIGHTING PROJECT 2019

Heading in to Magic Park today, no one can escape the fact that the POLES ARE UP!!! Our Outer Ground (Magic Park 2) lighting project is nearly complete, with only the metering to be completed we expect to switch on officially in the very near future. The project will give us a 150 Luxx+ training facility, which is a brighter level than most local match venues.

Welcome to our newest Magicians, the Under 9 Skills Acquisition Program (SAP).

The SAP teams play on HUB days where they split into two teams MAGIC RED and MAGIC YELLOW. The teams play two games on the day, on a half pitch. They join our U10’s SAP teams who continue on, after a very successful 2018.

Welcome to the club for all new and continuing boys, we hope you enjoy your football experience as you learn our beautiful game and hone your skills. Welcome and best of luck to our SAP Coaching staff, your hard work assembling the squads during the offseason and developing their skills will soon allow the boys to express their progression on the field.
