Officiating the ceremony was Dr. Richard Balkcom. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Scott Sicks of Brookhaven, Mississippi. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ron Ruhs of Blair, Nebraska, and the late Sebastian Ricceri.

Pianist Nancy Fisher, organist Greg Russell, and vocalists Ian Sicks and Laura Lee Lewis provided music for the wedding. Given in marriage by her father, Douglas Scott Sicks, the bride wore an Allure mermaid-fitted gown that featured a dual-layered lace train at the back and a removable off-the-shoulder lace bolero. To complement her bridal gown, she wore a two-tiered, ivory, cathedral-length veil. Attending the bride was Skylar McMorris Brady as matron of honor and bridesmaids Victoria Anderson, Karly Forman, Karli Herrington, Victoria Lanza, Laura Lee Lewis, Taylor Mullins, Hali Sasser, Shellie Smith, Tyler Thames, and Courtney Williams. Best man was Ron Ruhs; and the groomsmen were Daniel Anderson, Danny Briseno, Benjamin Gardner, Thomas Gray, Aaron King, Tommy McBride, Chad Petersen, Tyler Petersen, Daniel Pickett, Ian Sicks, and Jacob Walker. Floral design for the wedding ceremony and reception was by Melinda Said, and wedding coordination was by Anna Johnson and Ashley Sasser. Sweet Water Cuisine catered the reception, and the photographer was Marxy Lindsey Photography. Following the ceremony, friends and family attended the reception held at the Old Wesson School and enjoyed a night of live music and delicious food. The finale of the reception featured the traditional send-off as the couple departed through a parade of sparklers. After their honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple now resides in Brookhaven, Mississippi.
