ary Elizabeth Aubic and Martin McHenry Zentner were united in marriage April 2, 2016, at St. Mary Basilica in Natchez, Mississippi, with Father David O’Connor presiding. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John L. Aubic and the granddaughter of Betty Tipton Smith, all of Natchez. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas G. Zentner and the grandson of Mrs. Thomas Glenn Zentner, all of Monroe, Louisiana. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an antique ivory mermaid-sheath style gown from Yvonne LaFleur’s of New Orleans. The gown’s V-front and back of French Alencon lace over a charmeuse lining was delicately hand beaded and pearled with a satin sash and a self-bustled Tiffany train. Her garter was hand made by her maternal grandmother using lace from her paternal grandmother’s bridal veil. The bride’s attendants included friends from preschool Mattie Brown and Kari Guido, sister-in-law Kacy Aubic, sister of the groom Coco Zentner, and friends from high school and college Emily Atkins, Sarah Calhoun, Mattie Geoghegan, Micki Hagler, Katie Gibson, and Brittany Laird. The wedding party spent the day at Stanton Hall in The Queens Room, beginning with breakfast hosted by the bridesmaids and followed by a lunch brought in by friends of the bride’s aunt. The groom arrived mid-afternoon for a “first look,” and groomsmen and family members came for pictures. The wedding party rode the Natchez Trolley from Stanton Hall to the basilica for the ceremony and then back to Stanton Hall for the reception. The groom was attended by his best man and brother, Thomas Zentner III. Other groomsmen were Jack Aubic, Mac Ledbetter, Harrison Banks, Morgan Herterich, Brian Power, Will Mestayer, Robert Moore, Ryan Harter, Eric Gardner, Shelton Davis, and Ben Mintz. Ushers were Andrew Eagan, Grady Wyly, Tyler Osteen, David Lucius, and Bobby Shuey. Providing floral design and event coordination for the wedding and reception were long-time family friends Pam Harriss and Cheryl Rinehart. Stanton Hall was the setting for the reception with both the home and the Carriage House open for guests. NOLA Dukes Band furnished dance music, and good friends Gladys Ernst and Pam Middleton brought sweets for the groom’s table. The day-long celebration ended as the couple departed amidst a shower of wedding bubbles and wishes for a long, happy life together. After a honeymoon in Riviera Maya, Mary Beth and Martin are at home in New Orleans.
