Also accompanying her were bridesmaids Hannah Elizabeth Culpepper, Eleanor Valentine Hartzog, Meagan Myers Kelly, Lindsay Clare Summers, Tresse Young Sumrall, Taylor Rebecca West, and junior bridesmaid Anna Carlisle Jones, niece of the groom. The bride’s six-year-old twin sisters, Sophia Marlene Cupit and Lillian Christine Cupit, served as flower girls, wearing matching tulle gowns and spreading rose petals along the aisle. Following the ceremony, Malcolm and Marlene Cupit hosted a reception at their home. Musical entertainment for the evening was provided by the band Mo Money of Jackson, Mississippi. The reception was decorated with chandeliers; gold-clothed, candle-lit tables; and various floral arrangements matching the bride’s bouquet. The outside area featured a wooden deck and patio with white-cushioned seating and an outdoor bar. Guests enjoyed heavy hors d’oeuvres provided by Cosmopolitan Catering by Macy and joined the bride and groom on a dance floor set up next to the stage. The bride’s cake featured alternating tiers of strawberry and yellow cake with butter crème frosting adorned with fresh flowers; and the groom’s cake was red velvet, shaped like a cow bell to honor his alma mater, Mississippi State University. As the night concluded, the couple departed to the flickering lights of sparklers held by excited guests, friends, and family. The bride and groom rode away in a limousine to spend their honeymoon in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
