alynn Elizabeth Chumney and Adam Warren Vegas were married October 10, 2015, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The couple’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. William Craig Chumney of Baton Rouge and Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Lee Vegas of Ferriday, Louisiana. The bride is the granddaughter of Jo Lynn Denning of Baton Rouge, and the groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Vic Vegas of Ferriday.

The wedding ceremony was held at First United Methodist Church and officiated by Reverend Pattye Hewitt. The bride was given in marriage by her father, William Craig Chumney. Her dress, Isla by Enzoani, had a stunning, feminine fitand-flare gown, featuring a beautiful, high illusion neckline detailed with white floral appliqués. An elegant, tiered train and adorned illusion back with covered buttons completed the low back of this one-of-a-kind gown. Krisann Ellen Chumney, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor with Guylan Paige Britt, Jannah Collins Gray, Jordan Shelby Leake, Kathryn Louise Olivier, Nicolette Louise Ruzicka, Virginia Catherine Sotile, and Mariana Paola Vicente serving as bridesmaids. Her flower girls were Lyla Kate Reyes of Ferriday and Margaret Ann Klar of Baton Rouge. Ushers were Dixon Wallace McMakin, Derek Lamar Spinks, Matthew Grayson Vines and Robert Barksdale Hastings. Michael Daniel Simpson of Shreveport, Louisiana, served as best man. Groomsmen were Taylor Alan Edwards, Blasé Edward Gaude, Francis Daniel Gasquet, Chad Ellis Songy, Andrew Lee Vegas, and Lewis Brock Vines. Ring bearers were Grayson Ellis Tosspon of Natchez and Everett John Humphries of Alexandria, Louisiana. Floral design for the wedding ceremony and reception was by Lance Hayes and wedding coordinator Leslie Campbell, both of Baton Rouge. Following the ceremony, friends and family attended the reception at Baton Rouge Country Club. Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed music by The Phat Hat Band and excellent food catered by The Baton Rouge Country Club under Chef Ben Randow. Sonia Savio of New Orleans, Louisiana, beautifully photographed the entire day and evening. The couple honeymooned in Saint Lucia and returned to Natchez to make their home.
