Inspired by the 90s cartoons Wario Land and Deranged Animation, Pizza Tower is an independent 2D platform game created by Tour de Pizza and directed by Canadian artist McPig (previously known as "Pizza Tower Guy"). He is one day confronted by Pizzaface, the ruler of the Pizza Tower and a gigantic sentient pizza who has vowed to use a massive laser to demolish Peppino'srestaurant.WithGustavo,thepizzacook,byhisside,Peppinoembarkson a journey to demolish the Pizza Tower and rescue his restaurant.
You play pizza tower game by moving through the previously described floors of the Pizza Tower, gathering pizza toppings and cartoon Toppins as you go. Cheesy adversaries abound throughout the tower's different levels, trying to stop Peppino in his tracks. The player must race to the top of the level as it starts to collapse with a countdown that causes Pizzaface to wake up after taking out the level's Pillar John, which truly supports the entire level. The objective of Pizza Tower, which is essentiallyaspeedier,score-basedversionofWarioLand,istocollectasmanyPizza Points as you can, eliminate the Pillar Johns that are impeding each level, and then dash out of there in time!
It's not that simple, though, with a ton of adversaries and obstacles in your way to keep the tower from collapsing too quickly. His moves-which include rolling, diving, super jumping, and-the biggest move of them-dashing-are all intended to help him gain and sustain speed.
