The Story of Pizza Tower
The Wario Land series (mostly the fourth installment for the Game Boy Advance) served as the inspiration for the writers, who also included Sonic the Hedgehog's speed, a psychopathic Ren & Stimpy-style design that looked like it was made in Paint, horrific animation, and a healthy dosage of lunacy. The pizza tower stages are split into two sections: discovery and gathering objects, eliminating adversaries and uncovering mysteries, and making a mad run for the exit. Peppino is immortal. The game's overall plot can be summed up as follows: Peppino Spaghetti, an incredibly strong and nimble overweight balding Italian cook, tries to eliminate a rival who intends to destroy his pizzeria with a laser pistol. And in order to accomplish this, he must enter the Pizza Tower, navigate each floor's obstacles and tests, and defeat the bosses. The authors added horrific animation, a healthy dosage of psychosis, and psychotic design in the vein of Ren & Stimpy that appeared to have been done in Paint. The game's developers packed a ton of content into it; when players advance through the stages, they are awarded either a new skill.
