The youn people decorated ‘mini-venues’ to think about arts venues they’ve been to, and which ones they’d like to o to.To finish the day off, youn people chose which activity they wanted to do: decoratin ba s with Elena and bad e makin and trainer desi n with Nicola.
What happened?
Elena and Nicola then acilitated separately, splittin the roup into two roups o five. Nicola used maps/zines to support the youn people to think about what creative activities they did in and out o school. She then used ‘mini fi ures’ to support the youn people to think about creative mentors/who supports them to do creative activities. Elena used a raffiti wall or youn people to think about what creative activities they’ve done, and which ones they would like to try.
Artists Elena Miller and Nicola Goli htly co-delivered the Hartlepool day with 10 youn people a ed 11 - 14.
The Virtual School had indicated that the youn people would be interested in doin raffiti, and so a street art-based concept was adopted. The day be an with introduction ames and activities,includin a doodle jam to think about what creativity is.
