Sharon Cleary Supervisor

Julia George Live-in Care Manager

Sharon is now part of our supervisory team, bringing extensive experience from her time at Bluebird Care.

Sharon started her care career at Bluebird as a care assistant, she flourished in this role for over a year before being selected to become our customer care champion for the area’s of Windsor, Bracknell and Maidenhead. Sharon is always complimented on her caring nature, understanding of needs and support she gives to her fellow colleagues. Her direct experience brings a practical perspective that improves our team. We're excited to have her expertise to support our staff and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional care.

Julia steps into the role of Live-In Care Manager at Bluebird Care, gracing us with her extensive professional journey dating back to 2008.

Her passion for ensuring the well-being and comfort of our customers aligns perfectly with our values here at Bluebird Care. Julia's expertise and compassionate approach will enhance the quality of care we offer.

She recognises the significance of consistency, a committed support system, and going the extra mile to meet customers needs, all while upholding a person-centred approach to care.

Tina, our new Care Coordinator, has joined forces with Cat to improve our services, ensuring that every individual receives personalised care and support during their visits. With over 5 years care experience and excellent communication and administration skills, Tina brings a wealth of skills to our team. Her love for quality and coordination and her outgoing personality is sure to brighten everyone's day. She is looking forward to meeting everyone within the Bluebird family.

SUPPORTING AND INVOLVEMENT WITH OUR COMMUNITY Sharing with you the great work the teams are doing Wear it Pink Breast Cancer awareness Month

BLUEBIRD CARE RAISING MONEY FOR WEAR IT PINK We're thrilled to share the success of our recent Wear It Pink Day event! Thanks to all the incredible support, our joint raffle with our dedicated carers raised an impressive £120 in aid of breast cancer research and awareness.

Raising money for Wear It Pink holds immense significance as it directly contributes to breast cancer research and awareness. The funds collected play a pivotal role in supporting crucial research programs aimed at better understanding the disease, developing improved treatments, and ultimately striving for a cure. Bluebird Care are proud to raise money for this great charity and we encourage our carers and customers to look out for any symptoms of breast cancer and to seek advise from a professional as soon as possible.

Reading Festival Chorus Our customer Christmas party was a magical celebration that resonated with joy and community spirit. The incredible Reading Festival Chorus took the stage to perform some of the most classic Christmas carols adding an extra touch to our festivities. Their presence truly made our event a memorable and heartwarming experience for everyone in attendance.

The chorus aims to promote understanding and love for choral music through methods chosen by the trustees, including: Providing chorus members with chances to learn and rehearse this music and presenting this music to the public through performances.

CHRISTMAS 2023 Coming together to celebrate Christmas with our valued customers and carers was a beautiful experience filled with warmth and gratitude. Laughter and joy filled the air as we shared in the spirit of the season, exchanging stories and creating new memories together. A heartfelt thank you to those who make our community so special.

Doris is Doris, our cherished customer, celebrated a remarkable milestone in December, turning 104 this year. Doris continues to inspire us all with her spirit and joyfulness. Surrounded by love from friends and family, she embraced this special day.

Elsie and Jean’s Centenary Birthdays Elsie reached an incredible milestone—100 years young!

Elsie celebrated her birthday surrounded by her loving family and spent this remarkable day with happiness and joy. A thoughtful card from the king added a special touch to the celebration.

Jean has entered her centenary, hitting the impressive milestone of 100 years In November, Jean marked her 100th birthday surrounded by her family, creating an extra special day for her. Sharon added to the celebration by surprising Jean with a charming Bee-themed cake and a beautiful bouquet of flowers, Completing the festivities was an adorable 100th balloon, adding the perfect finishing touch to the occasion.
