Welcome To Our 2016 Product Directory I am delighted to introduce you to our 2016 Product Directory which is crammed with best-selling traditional lines as well as 301 exciting new products. We continue to support British suppliers with over 830 lines sourced in the UK and 934 lines available exclusively from Fosters Traditional Foods within our core independent market. We recognise that the retail food market is facing many challenges including significant changes in buyer behaviour. To the end of March 2015, the IGD quotes that growth in the UK grocery market had slowed to the lowest rate in 10 years with sales value up just 1.7% year on year. The retailers who are winning at this time are those who are reacting quickly to consumer trends - most notably the discounters who reached an unprecedented 10% market share in November 2015*. As a key supplier to the garden centre, farm shop and independent sector we need to ensure that we support our customers with products that follow key consumer trends and which can help you Win in this current marketplace. Our Product team has researched the UK market, identified growth trends in ambient food and sourced some fantastic new products to create “growth focus categories” for 2016 - these being Free From, American & Healthy Snacking. The Free From market doubled to £355m from 2009 to 2014 and is forecast to grow by a further 51% to £538m in 2018. Once a specialist market for those with medically registered intolerances, over 50% of the UK population now buy into this category as a lifestyle choice. Our new directory offers a full category solution to Free-From with 95 lines, of which 62% are new. We are delighted to introduce Natures Store, Eat Real and Cavalier No Added Sugar chocolate which offer delicious new products to this category and complement range extensions from long-standing brand partners Mrs Crimble's, Nairn's and Lazy Day Foods. Our best-selling product category is Confectionery and the good news is that this market is forecast to grow by 8.9% to 2019 despite raising fears about sugar levels in the UK **. Within this area we have extended the offering from our exclusive partner brand Cavendish & Harvey but our real focus has been to capitalise on the growing demand for American confectionery and snacking lines. We have carefully selected a range of 41 best-selling “Allstars” with Reese’s and Hershey’s extensions as well as Moon Pie bites, Tootsie Rolls and some delicious New York style bagel chips.

Finally our snacking category has been given a boost with the introduction of the Eat Real brand which are high protein snacks including lentil, hummus and kale chips in a variety of flavours. Not only are they delicious (I am eating some as I type this note!) but they are also a healthy alternative to potato crisps. As the snacking category growth is being driven by healthy alternatives we think that the Eat Real range perfectly complements Propercorn, as well as the less-healthy but must stock ranges from Mr Trotters and Corkers crisps, to help you maximise your snacking sales. Our award-winning Fosters brand and our Personalised offer remain at the heart of our business. They offer great quality at competitive prices and for 2016 will be supported with our strongest ever promotional programme with deep cut deals each and every month. We believe our Branded Product range for 2016 is our best yet. We have been carefully monitoring trends and selected a range that we believe will deliver the best sales results for your business. We lead into our Branded range with our exciting new American Confectionery range, championing the "Allstars" of the American confectionery world. It is difficult to choose a favourite in this range but we are particularly excited about the New York Style Bagel & Pita Chips (not confectionery but we simply couldn’t leave them out!). The biscuit category has some great new products. We love our new giant takes on classic biscuits and are sure that customers of all ages will love them just as much. The Dean's biscuit offer was so popular in our Christmas 2015 range that we have introduced them as an all year round staple brand. We are also pleased to introduce 11 New Bahlsen lines, making it our biggest ever range from this exclusive brand partner and with TV advertising planned for 2016 we hope to see improved consumer awareness drive strong sales growth. We have a new exclusive brand in the snacking category, Eat Real is a healthier snacking alternative made from lentils, quinoa and hummus which is also gluten free so can be added to your Free From category offer. Not so healthy but ever so tasty are Openshaws unique flavoured pork scratchings and range extensions from Corkers & Burts Chips. Finally we are delighted to be the first UK distributor to present Eco for Life mineral water which is bottled using 100% plant based and fully biodegradable plastic. A perfect line for the environmentally conscious customer.

Stevia is short for Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni. It is a small green plant originating from the border area between Paraguay and Brazil. Its leaves contain stevioside, a strong sweetener that is up to 300 times sweeter tasting than ordinary sugar. Terms & Conditions of Sale Prices
All prices shown are strictly net and are subject to change without prior notification. Every effort will be made to maintain prices, but exchange rate fluctuations, tax changes and variations on raw material costs may necessitate immediate price changes, and all orders are accepted on this basis.
New Accounts
Two satisfactory trade references must be received before a credit account may be opened. All initial orders must be pro-forma and paid for by cheque, credit card or by credit transfer into our bank account (please ask for further details).
Credit Terms
Our terms are payment within 30 days from the date of invoice, unless otherwise agreed. If payment is not made within the agreed terms, we reserve the right to charge interest at 2.5% above the prevailing base rate to the invoice value, excluding any interest or other costs should court proceedings become necessary. However if the debt is paid within the agreed terms no interest shall be payable. Re-presented cheques are all charged £10 for each re-presentation.
Orders
You can place orders directly with your sales contact/Territory Manager or by email, telephone, faxing or writing to our Customer Service department in Market Harborough. Please state clearly your account number, product code, product description and quantities of items required. Please be aware that our product and price list is constantly changing and some items you order may not be currently stocked. If in doubt please call Customer Services on 01858 438000.
Deliveries:
Carriage paid orders are subject to a minimum order value, please contact Customer Services or your Territory Manager regarding delivery charges. Timed deliveries are subject to charges, please contact the Customer Services team for further details. Although every effort will be made to deliver goods as ordered, the group cannot accept responsibility for any delay for circumstances beyond its control and accepts no liability whatsoever for any loss arising from any failure to supply under any circumstances.
Cancellation of Orders:
All orders placed form a contractual agreement between both parties. We reserve the right to apply a cancellation fee for all cancelled orders: 28 days or less prior to requested delivery date – 40% of order value 14 days or less prior to requested delivery date – 100% or order value
Delivery Discrepancies Claims
Claims should be made to the Group’s Credit Administration Department within 24 hours of receipt of goods on telephone 01858 438018. All goods must be counted upon receipt and any shortage noted on the delivery note at the time of delivery. If customers are unable to check on receipt, the POD must be signed “UNCHECKED”. All goods must also be checked for damages upon receipt and any damage must be indicated on the delivery note at the time of delivery. If customers are unable to check on receipt, the POD must be signed “UNCHECKED”. Photographic evidence of the damage will be required to validate the claim. Any claim in respect of the above should be made by telephone (01858 438018), facsimile (01858 433606) or email (marian.ward@ fosters-foods.co.uk) to the Group’s Credit Administration Department within 2 working days of the delivery. Claims submitted after this time will automatically be rejected. Goods which have been in your possession for longer than 21 DAYS cannot be refunded for credit. Credit cannot be given for goods that are already price marked. Product quality issues can be discussed with the Customer Services Manager on 01858 438065. In the interests of food safety, the Group cannot accept the return of opened or part packs of products unless by prior agreement with the above Manager. Please note: Goods cannot be returned without an uplift note.

Until payment in full of the purchase price, together with payment of all other sums due from the customer to the Blueberry Group Limited for the property in the product (The Goods), the Goods shall remain the property of the Blueberry Group Limited, but the risk therein and all liability to third parties in respect thereof shall pass to the Purchaser on delivery. The Purchaser shall keep the Goods in such a manner that they shall be identifiable by the Blueberry Group Limited. The Purchaser may sell the Goods in the normal course of its business but in a fiduciary capacity as bailee of the Goods and shall hold and pursue all claims to proceeds of their sale equal to the price of the Goods for and on behalf of the Blueberry Group Limited. In the event of non-payment by the Purchaser by the due date, the Blueberry Group Limited shall be entitled, in addition to all other rights, to enter any premises where the Goods may be, and recover possession of them. Unless specifically agreed in writing by a director of Blueberry Group Limited, this retention of title clause supersedes any other third party terms regarding retention of title.
