Staff Article A HEART-RENDING SIGHT! Alas! What a heart-rending sight! With drooping eyelids and sunken eyes, With pitiful and longing-look on doleful face, With his eyes brimming with pearls of tears, There goes a hapless man! With bundles of unfulfilled expectations in his broken heart, With unsteady footing, relying heavily on a stick, With shabby and untidy cloth around his hip, With little muddy water in bottle to quench his thirst,

There goes a cursed man!! With ratty and tattered foot slippers, Along stony, thorny and bushy field, Under skin-piercing sunlight that rends his crackedheels, Under burning sun rays that pierce his roughest paws, There goes an inauspicious man!!! Mr. P. Selvam, Assistant Professor, RLIMS
