As our workplaces increase attention on mental health and wellbeing, it’s critical that we focus on supporting those at risk of mental distress through their work. Over the last few years I have worked with many first responders and returned service men and women and have been continually amazed by their fortitude and capacity to walk through immense challenges.
Those who support others, whether it be in those essential first responder roles, or in the vital support provided within families and communities to those living with mental health issues, also require support.
