My name is Jamie Marie Rose. I was born and raised on Block Island where my family line dates back to 1661. I have intimate knowledge of the island and have established relationships with its wedding venues, providing flowers for hundreds of satisfied brides and grooms. With certificates in wedding floral design from the Canadian Institute for Floral Design and the Floral Design Institute in Portland, Oregon, I founded La Bella Rose in 2006 to serve brides and grooms on Block Island. I am also a visual artist and bring a strong degree of intuition and artistry to my designs. I work closely with each bride to understand her personal taste and vision for her wedding flowers. My training and experience enables me to create exquisite professional designs that bring her vision to life.
