A number of heads were turned during our second major concrete pour in late May, with over 40 cement truck deliveries.

This saw the completion of basements #1 and #2, complying with all associated drainage and electrical requirements.

June also witnessed over 50 form workers on site, in preparation for ground floor concrete pour. From here the scaffolding goes above ground level. The site will only get busier as Oasis Peakhurst really starts to take shape on the journey to its eagerly awaited completion.

Additionally, residents (and families) buying off the plan at Oasis Peakhurst, have the added peace of mind of a fully refundable deposit combined with a 90-day settling-in period after they first enter the community. Residential strata apartments do not offer this.

Why did you buy off the plan?

“Buying off the plan wasn’t really a huge risk. And that was before I saw any of the photos. The photos just blew me away. The concept is fantastic. I mean you’ve got your roof top garden… Then to have the café/ restaurant onsite, which if you have visitors and you don’t want to do the cooking, everyone can go down there and have something. Then you have all the facilities, you’ve got an indoor pool, you’ve got a gym, which are all things I have now.”

Being part of a community is important to most people and this gets more important as we go through life. While our goal is to build a strong community within Oasis Peakhurst, being surrounded by a solid and strong community outside of Oasis Peakhurst is the cherry on the top.

We selected Peakhurst as there was a need for a new retirement village in the area. More importantly, 64 Stanley Street allowed plenty of natural light into the development and was large enough to build the community facilities, such as the café-restaurant, library, communal lounge, sky-deck, pool and spa, and gym.

Overall, it was the location and supporting local community that won the day!

Only a short distance from Oasis Peakhurst is local shopping, coffee shops, cafés and restaurants, namely Charlie Lovett Peakhurst Café and St Peter’s Café. Down the street, Cheatday Café and more awaits. Around the block there’s The Peakhurst hotel, to socialise or have a meal with family or friends.

There is always something to do. From churches to sporting clubs - tennis, golf, lawn bowls, social clubs - Rotary, RSL, book clubs, MG motoring clubs and more. A five-minute drive
