• Health and Safety
• Only employers who can demonstrate that they manage Health and Safety effectively will be used for placements. This will have been checked and certified by a representative of the Worcestershire Education Business Partnership if the placement is registered on their work experience database.
You may know of a family or friend who would like to offer you a work experience placement, if this is the case please ensure you notify us asap so as the employers details can be recorded onto the work experience database and all of the required checks are carried out prior to the placement commencing.

We launch work experience a year in advance due to the time it takes to place all students and get paper work and risk assessments in place to ensure the process is smooth.
We would like to invite you to an online session with the careers department introducing work experience on April 11th 2024.
This session will be on google meet. A meet code will be sent to students via their email, so you will need to be with your child and logged into their Blessed Edward account. Please log on with any cameras and microphones turned off.
If your child is in tutor group; Ashley, Clitherow, Jones or Line please attend the 6pm session
If your child is in tutor group; Pritchard, Sutton or Wall please attend the 6.45pm session
Regards,
Blessed Edward Oldcorne Catholic College
