SEQUE, Layonie Rama: On March 22 2012, at Christchurch Hospital, unexpectedly, after suffering a severe stroke. Aged 43 years. Dearly loved and cherished daughter and stepdaughter of Wilma and John Edgar (Picton), beloved stepmother of Hannah Lavender and Olivia Denham and friend of Denham and much loved friend of Karen and Keith Harrop and dearly loved by all her extended family and friends. Layonie leaves a huge gap in the lives of her many family and friends in New Zealand and around the world. We can all find a little peace and comfort in knowing that in her passing her amazing generosity continues as she has given the gift of another chance at life to others in need. ‘We love you Layonie and are very, very proud of you."
