Women preparing for Friday’s World Day of Prayer service.
Women’s prayer service preparing A special service for the World Day of Prayer this Friday is being prepared by women from several different Christian churches in Blenheim. The service, to be held on Friday morning at St Andrew’s
in Henry Street, is prepared by the World Day of Prayer Committee in the Philippines, and in Blenheim, a group of Filipina women have gathered with women from the St Andrew’s parish to bring a special
character to the service. The women, at a rehearsal last week, are, from left: Josie Slape, Geraldine Slovak, Dawn Neal, Fely Tyson, Flo Southam, Candy Austin, Heather Wadsworth, Ngaire Kendrew, Vicky
