Smart city power grids must create and store energy in an efficient manner. My building was designed as a battery pack to produce, store, and distribute energy to the entire Schuylkill Yards master plan. Battery units are intertwined with retail space at the base of the building, displaying them for the public. Residential space, and a hotel occupy the three tallest towers.
