At the beginning of February we find ourselves tantalisingly close to the completion of our major renovations. Several new areas were opened toward the end of 2017 including the dining area, one side of the new gaming lounge and the O Bar. If you haven’t seen them yet, I encourage you to call in and take a look. Following a break for Christmas and the New Year, the builders are now back at work and more completed areas will be revealed very soon. Once again thank you to all our loyal members who have stuck by us during this process. I’m sure you will agree; the results so far have been worth it!
Many of you will be excited to hear the creator and star of Fat Pizza and Housos, Pauly Fenech is returning to Brothers on the 7th of February with a two-hour live comedy spectacular. If you like his television shows, you will love the man in person. His national “Smash it with a Thong!” tour has had audiences across the country in stitches. Pre-sale tickets are available from reception for just $30 or book online and save. Love is in the air at Brothers with St Valentine’s Day not too far off. Our Executive Chef, Neil Smith has put together a fantastic three-course package to celebrate the occasion. Or, if you prefer, you can still select from our regular menu. To make sure it is truly memorable, dinner on St Valentine’s Day this year will be accompanied by music from the

wonderful Leena Salim. Bookings are recommended. Our current major promotion, Summer Lovin’ will be drawn on Sunday 25 February. $20,000 cash will be shared across two rounds of draws with individual prizes ranging from $1,000 to $3,000. If you have visited the club at some point this year then you already have a chance to be amongst the winners. If not, it’s not too late. You can collect entries with every visit right up until the final draw. The main event in March is of course St Patrick’s Day. We will be going all-out celebrating everything Irish with a massive day of free entertainment and Irish-themed specials. The hugely popular Life of Reilly Band will
be back with all their poems, silly stories and Irish singalongs starting at 11am and then again for a second show at 6pm. At the other end of the club from 9.30pm, the Rok of the Irish will be playing a more contemporary Irish set list featuring artists such as U2, Thin Lizzy, The Cranberries and more. With so much happening, I am really looking forward to the next few months here at Brothers. I hope to see you soon.
