THE NEWCOMERS ~ GARY CARR & DENNIS KOEHN MOVE INTO FIRST PLACE WITH DENNY OBENAUER & KEN KELCHNER JUMPING 5 SPOTS TO MOVE INTO 2ND PLACE !! Team #B1: Erv Rock ( 69)& Jim Loughead (55): Erv had a rough start on hole #1 as it cost him 5 extra strokes. He came into the clubhouse with the same score as week 1. He made a slight recovery posting a bogey on the par 5. He struggled the rest of the way in his round with several quads and triples. Erv finished with a 69. Coach ‘Jim’ knocked off a few strokes from last weeks round coming in with a 55. The first three holes did the most damage with two triples and a quad. Jim pars on the 1st par 5 and his second par on hole #6. Ken finished his round with bogeys on the final three holes for his 45. Nice shooting Ken. Denny and Ken take a whopping 45 points to vault into second place.
posted four bogeys in his round but was unable to notch any pars. A valiant effort by both players in only our second week of competition. The team is currently holding on to 5th place. Team #B2: Tim Weigel (59) & Matt Zuber (Bk 43): Tim feel off a bit from last weeks round posting a 59 in week 2. The opening two holes cost him an extra 7 strokes that he did not recovery very well from. He strung doubles together in three of his next four holes. The final two holes did the balance of the damage with a triple followed by 5 extra strokes on #9. Good effort Tim. Matt Zuber was absent and a bank round of 43 was used.
Mark faired better as he knocked off 5 strokes from the previous weeks round, coming in with a 53. Mark got on a doubles train posting them on the first three holes of his round. Unfortunately, he broke up the doubles run with a triple going the wrong way in Team #B4: Billy Alessanstrokes. He posted a bogey on drini (58) & Mark Dixon #5 and nailed a par on #6 (53): Billy had a devastatwhich is the 2nd toughest hole ing start to his round as he on the front. After a bogey on posted triples on the first #7, Mark finished on a disapthree holes that he could pointing note posting back to not recover from. He leveled back triples. A very nice try by off with a couple of doubles both players. but then added two more Team #B5: Gary Carr (59) & triples to cap off a very disDennis Koehn (46): Gary fell appointing round. Team #B3: Denny Obenauer (50) & Ken Kelchner (45): Denny made some significant improvements in his game in week 2, knocking off 3 strokes from week 1. Denny stuck 4 bogeys in between triples on holes # 1 & 6. He finished with back to back bogeys but got stung by a final double on #9. Still a very nice round Denny. Ken led all golfers in the B division into the clubhouse with the best round, notching a 45. Ken started with a double on 1 added his second double on #3. Ken posted Continued bottom left

The final two holes did the balance of the damage as he finished with a 59. Dennis got off to a poor start on #1 with a triple but recovered well. He played bogey golf for the next 5 holes to help his round. He notched his only par on hole #7 before finishing with back to back bogeys on 8 & 9. Dennis knocked off 10 strokes (shooting a 46) from week 1 and gets honorable mention for his round. Nice shooting Dennis and good effort Gary.
