TEAM #B5 (DENNIS & GARY) TAKE 37 POINTS IN THEIR POSITION ROUND MATCH WITH TEAM #B3 (KEN & DENNY) AND CLOSE WITHIN 39 POINTS OF THE LEAD WITH 4 WEEKS REMAINING IN THE SEASON!!! #B5: Dennis Koehn & Gary Carr: Dennis comes in with his second 41 in a row with some very nice shooting. Dennis started on the rough side posting an opening quad on the first hole. He then put back to back pars together before adding a bogey on #4. He reduced some of the overages on strokes with a very nice birdie on #5. One more double and then he put it all back together. After notching his second birdie, this time on #7, Dennis finished on a high note. He nailed back to back pars to finish off a very nice round. Dennis made (4) pars and (2) birdies. Great shooting Dennis. Partner Gary also had his best in this yet as he

dropped 9 strokes off last weeks round, posting a very nice 51. Gary got off to a rough start as he posted a double followed by a triple. He seemed to recover a bit posting back to back bogeys. He then made doubles on #5. #6 & #7. He did finish a little better posting back to back bogeys . Good try Gary

#B8: Bill Marsack & Ron Corfield: After a couple of weeks in the mid to lower 40’s, Bill struggled but kept it in the forties as he comes in with a (49). Bill played bogey golf for the first four holes before suffering his first of two triples. His first came on #5. He then got back into a bogey train on his next three holes before finishing with a final triple on #9. Good try Bill. Partner Ron was out of town and his bank round of (59) was used against his opponent.

reduced their scores from last week. Coach knocked off (2) strokes from last week coming in with a 51. Coach opened with a triple and then made back to back doubles. Just incase you don’t know it, Coach pretty much plays one handed most of his round. He made a bogey on 4 and followed with a double on #5. He bogeyed #6 and nailed a par on #7. He finished with back to back doubles. Coach finished with (1) par. Nice round Jim ’Coach’ Loughead. Erv also posted a very nice

#B6: Larry Ball & Norm Giraud: Larry Ball posted his best round of the 2014 season coming in with a very nice (44). Larry opened with a double but then put back to back pars together on #2 & #3. After a couple of bogeys, Larry notched a par on the

tough #6 hole. Larry notched back to back bogeys and finished like he started with a closing double. Larry finished with (3) pars. Very nice round Larry. His partner Norm struggled from the opening tee slot, posting a (68). The double did not hurt as much as the quad on #2 and the extra five strokes on #3. He made a double on #4 and then his round took another plunge. He posted bacon strips on #5 and got clipped by another 5 strokes on #6. He took another double on the final par three and then added 5 more strokes. He did finish a bit better posting a bogey on #9. A valiant effort Norm. #B7: Ernie Danos & Steve Fleck: Ernie added 10 strokes more this week coming in with a (58). After an opening

bogey, Ernie got clipped by a quad on the first par 5. Back to back doubles on #3 & #4 led to a bogey on #5. He made a triple on #6 and a bogey on #7 before the bottom dropped out again. Ernie finished with back to back quads to take his round down the rest of the way. Good try Ernie. Steve also had his troubles as he posted back to back triples to get off on a bad note. He looked like he recovered as he notched bogeys on the next three holes. It was short lived as he found quads on 6 & 8. Steve finished with a final double on #9. A very valiant effort by Steve who finished with a (56).

round coming in with a (55). Erv got off to a very poor start, posting triples on #1 and #2. He made a double on #3 and nailed his only par of the round on #4. He had another tough two holes, posting a double on #5 and a quad on #6. He finished with a triple on #8 surrounded by bogeys on #7 & #9. Erv finished with (1) par. Good job Erv.
