TEAM #A6 PASTOR HOOD & PASTOR TURNER VAULT BACK INTO 2ND PLACE BUT NOW TRAIL TEAM #A4 (BRIAN & DOMINIC) BY 54 POINTS WITH 7 WEEKS REMAINING!!

Team #A1: Stan Dreslinski (44) & Ray Ressler (42): Stan knocked off a stroke from last week with a [44].

Stan opened with (3) bogeys before draining a birdie putt on #13. The 14th bit him with a triple and he took a double on #15. He finished better nailing a par on #16 followed by back to back bogeys on the final two holes. Stan finished with (1) par and (1) birdie. Good round Stan. Ray also knocked off a stroke from last week coming in with a nice [42].

Ray’s round was filled with bogeys, 7 to be exact. He managed (2) pars, one on #13 and the other on hole #16. The positive in the round was that he did not make any doubles in the round. Good round Ray. Team #A2: Andre Viger (44) & Ken Huyghe (45): Andre went up one stroke from last weeks round, coming in with a [44]. After an opening bogey, Andre took a double on hole #11. He took a bogey on 12 and notched his first par on #13. Back to

back bogeys proceeded the par before he posted his second par, this one on the par three 16th hole.

The #1 handicap hole got him for a double before finishing with a bogey on the par 5-18th. A good try Andre.

Andre finished with (2) pars. Ken has been dealing with some health issues but after some tests if was determined that a possible blockage had disappeared when he had the catherization. We give all the thanks and glory to God for the healing touch on Ken’s body. Meanwhile, Ken also seemed to struggle in his round after a couple of weeks off.

Ken comes in with a [45]. He started out good, notching pars on three of his first 4 holes. Only posting a bogey on #11. Hole #14 took the first toll on his round, as he got saddled with a quad on the hole. He regained his composure making a par on #15. Bogeys followed him on #16 & #17. The par 5 -18th did the balance of the damage, as he took

a final triple on the hole. Ken did finish with (4) pars in his round. Two bad holes beat his round down.

Good try Ken. Team #A3: Wayne Davidson (43) & Rusty Ellison (47): Wayne rebounded from a disappointing round last week, knocking off three strokes this week in a decent round of [43]. Wayne opened his round with a double on #10. He notched back to back pars on 11 & 12 to help his round. He took bogeys on the next three holes taking him to hole #16. There he nailed a nice putt to put a par on the card. He found his second double of the round on hole #17. Wayne finished with a bogey on 18. Nice round Wayne. Wayne posted (3) pars.

Rusty continues to struggle some, but at least dropping a stroke off last weeks round with a [47]. Rusty also started with a double, but nailed pars on his next three holes with some nice iron play and putts.

PAT ‘THE BIG EASY’ CONTINUES TO PLAY WELL AND SHOT EVEN PAR [35] ON THE BACK NINE IN WEEK 11!! DOMINIC DERITA ALSO CONTINUES TO POST EXCELLENT SCORES AND POSTED A 39 WITH THE NEXT BEST ROUND!! HONORABLE MENTION TO RAY RESSLER (42) WAYNE DAVIDSON (43) BILL GAUNT (43) & DOUG BUSAM (43) !!

His next four holes did the damage, as he posted a double on 14, triple on 15 and back to back doubles on 16 & 17. Rusty finished with a bogey on the final hole for his round. Rusty made (3) pars in a disappointing round. Good try Rusty.

Volume 16 Issue 12 Team #A4: Brian DeRita (46) & Dominic DeRita (39): The two weeks off for Brian certainly seemed to affect his game as he posted his worse round in a long time. The opening par was promising until he got clipped by a double on #11. A par on #12 helped some, but his next two holes did the most damage to his round. The double on 13 was followed by a quad on #14. He did seem to level off, posting a par on 15 and finishing his round with bogeys on his final three holes. Brian finished with a [46], posting (3) pars in the round. Good try Brian. Dominic followed last weeks round of 40 with one less stroke this week, posting a [39]. He seemed to be out of rhythm on his first two holes, posting an opening bogey followed by a double on #11. He then got his game back, nailing pars on 12 & 13. He found a final bogey on 14 as he notched (4) pars in a row to finish his round a very good note. Dom finished with (6) pars. Great round Dom. Team #A5: Pat Nellis (35) & Cory Routheaux (52): It looked a bit scary for Pat after the opening double on #10. Then with long putts from the fringe on both 11 & 12, he turned the his round from a negative to a

Page 2 positive. He drained both putts for birdies to get even after three holes. He made pars on 13 & 14 and nailed his third birdie on #15 putting him at one under. The bogey on #16 took him back to even as he finished with back to back pars on 17 & 18. Great round Pat. Pat finished with (4) pars and (3) birdies. Cory did not fair as well in his round as he comes in with a [52], two worse than his previous weeks round. Cory’s round was riddled with mostly doubles. He took doubles on 10, 13 & 14. It was two triples that did the other 6 strokes that he made on 11 & 18.

Cory did notch a par on 17 with bogeys on 12 & 16. Good try Corman. Cory notched (1) par that was made on the #1 handicap hole on the back.

Team #A6: Warren Hood (47) & Jim Turner (45): Pastors Hood & Turner returned to 2nd place behind the leaders Brian & Dom, but still trail by 54 points. Warren got off to a poor start posting doubles on his first three holes. He notched a par on #13 and then bogeyed his way to hole #17. He notched a very nice par on one of the toughest holes on the course. Warren

Team #A8: Doug Busam (43) & Nate Hood (49): This team had to play against the course in week 11. Doug played some nice golf in week 11, like we know he can do. Doug notched an opening par to get his round off to a good start. He then got on the bogey train, starting on 11 and ending on #15. He took a double on #16 and finished with a bogey on 17 followed by a nice par on 18. Doug finished his (43) with (2) pars. One at the start of his round and the other at the end of his round. Nice shooting Doug. Nate got off to a bad start, posting a triple on hole #10. Back to back bogeys were followed by a double on #13. Nate nailed a par on #14 but got bit by a triple on 15. Nate finished with a bogey on 16, double on 17 and bogey on 18. Good try Nate. Nate

July 31, 2014 finished with a triple on the final hole for his round of [47]. Warren got one par. Good try Warren. Jim had a little better round this week coming in 3 strokes better than last week. Jim started hot, nailing pars on 10, 11 & 12. He then took back to back doubles on 13 & 14. After two more bogeys, the final two holes did the balance of damage, with two more doubles. Jim finished with (3) pars. Good effort Jim. Team #A7: Bill Gaunt (43) & Steve Ciaramitaro (61): Bill continues to have up and down rounds. Last week was a pretty decent round with a nice [43]. Bill opened with a double, stuck in a par on #11 & doubled the par three 12th. He made a second par on #13 and then played bogey golf for three more holes. He got stung by a double on #17 but finished with a par on #18. Nice round Bill. Bill finished with (3) pars.

Partner Steve’s round started bad and he could never get into any type of good groove. His first 5 holes cost him 15 extra strokes over the hole pars. After a bogey on #15 Steve finished with back to back triples and a final quad on #18. It was a valiant try Steve. Steve finished with a [61].

Team #A9: Brent Cymbalski (Bk round 43) & Ken Cymbalski (60): Brent was out of town and was unable to make the league night. Ken was there but could not get anything going from the start. The first two holes pretty much dictated his round. Back to back quads were followed by a double on #12. The next three holes pretty much sunk his round as he posted triples on 13, 14 & 15. He finished with doubles on his final three holes to end a tough round. A valiant effort Ken. MYSTERY WINNER 07/24/14 The number drawn was a 56 - Gary Carr had the winning score for week 11.

TEAM #B3 DENNY OBENAUER & KEN KELCHNER MAINTAIN THEIR (44) POINT LEAD OVER 2ND PLACE TEAM #B5 DENNIS & GARY WITH BOTH TEAMS TAKING 33 POINTS AGAINST THEIR OPPONENTS IN LAST WEEKS MATCHES!!

Team #B2: Tim Weigel (63) & Matt Zuber (Bk round 48): Matt was working late and could not attend the league play in week 11. His bank round of (48) was used to pair up against his opponent. Tim had all kinds of problems right from tee off.

He posted back to back doubles before taking three quads in a row, that pretty much destroyed his round. A double showed up on hole #15 before the par three beat him up for 5 more strokes over par. He finished with a double on 17 and triple on 18. Good effort Tim. Team #B3: Denny Obenauer (47) & Ken Kelchner (43): Denny continues to stay in the higher 40’s to lower 50’s with some consistent rounds the last few weeks. Denny drops three strokes off last week with a decent round of [47]. He got off to a rocky start, posting an opening triple on #10. He then put back to back bogeys together to start his round recovery. Hole #13 got him for a couple extra strokes, but he

got back on track on the next several holes. He made bogey on #14 and nailed his only par on #15. He finished with a bogey on 16 and one more double on 17. He finished with a bogey on the par 5 18th. Nice round Denny. Denny made (1) par.

Ken continues to stay in the mid to lower 40’s rounds, coming in with a nice [43] last week. Ken opened with a par, then bogeyed #11 and followed that with a par on #12. He stuck a bogey from #14 between doubles on 13 & 14. He made two more bogeys on 16 & 17 before finishing on a good note with a par on the par 5-18th. Nice round Ken. Ken finished with (3) pars.

Team #B4: Billy Alessandrini (54) & Mark Dixon (53): Billy got off to a rough start posting an opening triple. He seemed to settle down, notching bogeys on his next three holes. It was a losing battle for Billy as a double on fourteen was followed by a quad on #15. He fin-

ished with a triple on the last par three and back to back doubles to finish his round with a [54]). Good try Billy. Mark lost three strokes from last week. He comes in with a [53], one better than his partner.

The opening hole cost him 6 extra strokes with bacon strips marked on the card. Mark took bogeys on hole 11 and 13. Two more holes took more toll on his round. A double on #12 and a triple on #14. He then seemed to get into a good groove, posting bogeys on his final three holes for his round. Good effort Mark.

Team #B5: Dennis Koehn (45) & Gary Carr (56): Dennis continues to stay around the mid forties coming in last round with a [45], a stroke better than his previous round. Dennis opened with a bogey but got bit by a double on the 11th hole. He posted back to back bogeys before taking his 2nd double on #14.He Continued bottom left column

KEN KELCHNER LEADS THE B FLIGHT PLAYERS INTO THE CLUBHOUSE WITH A VERY NICE 43 ROUND ~ HE WAS FOLLOWED IN DENNIS WHO NOTCHED A 45!!

ERV ROCK SHOT 10 STROKES BETTER THAN LAST WEEK COMING IN WITH A VERY NICE 54 - HONORABLE MENTION TO DENNY O WITH A ROUND OF 47!!! nailed a par on #15 and finished with bogeys on his final three holes. Good finish Dennis. Dennis notched (1) par in his round. Good round Dennis. Gary continues to have roller coaster rounds. He comes into the clubhouse with a [56], three strokes worse than last week. Gary started in trouble, posting back to back doubles. He took a welcomed bogey on #12 He then

posted triples on 13 & 15 sticking in a quad on #14. One more triple showed up on #16 which was followed by a double on #17. Gary finished a bit better with a bogey on the tough par 5, hole #18. Good try Gary.

Team #B6: Larry Ball (Bk round 54) & Norm Giraud (61): Larry was out of town and unable to make the league night and his bank round of 54 was used against his opponent. His round took 18 points and pushed he and his partner within four points of 3rd place. Norm continues to struggle, but he did manage to shave off one stroke from last weeks round, coming in with a [61]. He opened with a triple and posted back to back doubles on #11 & #12. His next two holes did extensive damage, taking his second triple on #13 followed by a quad on #14. He managed a bogey on #15 but found another triple on the par three 16th hole. One more double, on hole #17, was followed by bacon strips on hole #18. A valiant effort Norm.

Team #B7: Ernie Danos (Bk round 51) & Steve Fleck (62): Ernie was absent and a bank round of [51] was used to match up against his opponent. Ernie’s bank round got beat up by a very good round posted by Erv Rock. Meanwhile, Steve had his problems right from opening his opening tee off. His first two holes cost Steve 9 strokes over the hole pars. He managed back to back doubles before hole #14 gouged him for a quad. Two more doubles before he made his second quad, this time on the par 4, 17th. Steve finished with a double on the par 5 18th and a round of [61]. Good try Steve.

Team #B8: Bill Marsack (51) & Ron Corfield (61): Bill struggled in his round in week 11, coming in with his second round over the 40’s mark, posting a [51] last week. His first two holes took the most toll on his round.

An opening 5 extra strokes over par on #10 was followed by a triple on hole #11. He started to get it back together with back to back bogeys on # 12 & 13. Hole #14 cost him a double. He made a bogey on 15 and then nailed a par on #16. He found hole #17 another tough hole and it cost him his 2nd triple of his round. He did finish on a very nice note, nailing a final par on the 18th hole to finish on a positive note. A very good try Bill.

Ron did knock off three strokes from last weeks round, coming into the 19th hole with a [61]. His opening two holes dictated his round. He opened with back to back 5’s over the hole pars on #10 & 11. After a bogey on #12, Ron added doubles on his next three holes. He managed a second bogey on the second par three before the final two holes beat him up for 8 more strokes. 5 over on #17 was followed by a triple on the par 5. A valiant effort Ron. Team #B1: Jim Loughead (55) & Erv Rock (54): Coach started decent posting an opening bogey on hole #10. The 11th though cut into his score as he posted his first of 3 triples. After a bogey on the par three 12th, it was bad news again. Hole #13 bit him for a quad. The second triple came on #14, and again, Jim roared back with another bogey to continue to try and put a decent round together. He finished with a triple on #17, sandwiched between doubles on 16 & 18. A very good effort Jim. Erv played one of his best rounds ever, coming in a stroke better than his partner. Erv also started with a bogey on the 10th. He matched his partner with a triple on #11 and bogey on #12. Erv found a triple on #13 but took another hit to the round with a quad on #14. Erv then posted bogeys on #15 & #17 sticking in a double on the par three 16th. Erv finished poorly with a final triple on #18. It was a very honorable round Erv. Great Job.
