TEAM #B4 (TIM WEIGEL & MATT ZUBER) INCREASE THEIR LEAD OVER 2ND PLACE TEAM #B2 (BILL MARSACK & RON CORFIELD) TO 29 POINTS WITH 4 WEEKS REMAINING!! Team #B5: Ernie Danos (48) / Steve Fleck (61): Ernie continues to stay in the 40’s for the 2nd week in a row. Ernie comes in with a (48), 2 shots higher than his previous round. Ernie was right on target for his first two holes, posting back to back pars. The first par three and the last par three clipped him for triples. He made a third triple on #14, which was stuck between bogeys on 13 & 15. He made a double on #17 but finished solid with a par on #18. Ernie notched (3) pars. Nice round Ernie. Steve faltered after last weeks nice round, coming in with a (61). Steve’s card was filled with triples on 5 of his first 6 holes. He posted them on 10, 12, 13, 14 & 15. He stuck in a quad on #11. After
a bogey on #16, Steve finished with back to back triples. A valiant try Steve. Team #B6: Erv Rock (55) / Jim ‘Coach’ Loughead (55): Erv shaved off 6 strokes from last weeks round, coming into the 19th hole with a (55). Erv posted back to back doubles to start, but nailed a par on the first par three. The quad on #13 was followed by doubles on his next three holes, 14, 15 & 16. His final two holes cost him back to back triples and the rest of the damage. Erv nailed (1) par. Jim went up two strokes from last weeks round. Jim started with doubles on #10 & #11. Holes #12 &
#14 cost Jim triples. He stuck in a double on #13. The bogey on #15 was followed by a quad on the 2nd par three, hole #16. Jim finished with a bogey on #17 and final double on 18. Good try Coach. Team #B7: Mike Kove (50) / Rand Hewitt (62): Mike started his round on #10 with a double, but then seemed to level out some, posting bogeys on 11,12 & 13. Hole number 14 clipped him for a double which was followed by a bogey on #15. The par 3, hole #16 beat up his round with his only triple. Mike finished with a bogey on tough #17 and a final double on #18. Good try Mike. Continued below left
MATT ZUBER LEADS THE ‘B’ FLIGHT PLAYERS INTO THE CLUBHOUSE WITH THE BEST ROUND WITH A (46) ~ ERNIE DANOS & KEN KELCHNER (48) ~~HONORABLE MENTION TO TIM WEIGEL (49) ~BILL MARSACK & MIKE KOVE (50’S) Rand fell off by 8 strokes from his previous week, coming into the clubhouse with a (62). His first two holes pretty much defined his round

as they cost him eleven extra shots over par. Rand continued to struggle, posting a triple on #12 and quad on #13. Rand made a double on the 14th and 16th, sticking in a bogey on 15. Rand finished with a bogey on #17 and a final triple on 18. A valiant effort Rand.
Team #B8: Bill Folson (Bk round 51) / Brian Hewitt (57): Bill had the second eye surgery and should be back next week. Just remember to keep him in your prayers for complete healing. Brian comes into the clubhouse with a (57). Brian opened five extra shots on hole #10 to put his round in the hole to start. Brian posted bogeys on 11, 13 & 14 sticking in a double on the par three 12th. Three of his next four holes, did extensive damage to his round. It started with a triple on #15. Hole #16 only cost Brian a bogey, but the next two holes did the rest of the damage. A triple on #17 was followed by 5 shots over par on his final hole.

DIAL IN YOUR CHIPPING DISTANCE On the practice green, take five balls and hit chips of various lengths to your target hole until you knock all five to within a club-length of the cup [make it two or three clublengths if chipping isn't your strength]. Once you go five-for-five, repeat the drill, this time trying to knock them all inside, say, the steel of the club. Hey, we told you this would be hard!
