TEAM #B4 (TIM WEIGEL & MATT ZUBER) INCREASE THEIR LEAD OVER 2ND PLACE TEAM #B2 (BILL MARSACK & RON CORFIELD) TO [15] POINTS AS WE HEAD INTO OUR 3RD POSITION ROUND NEXT WEEK !!

Team #B3: Larry Ball (48) & Norm Giraud (Bk57): Norm was unable to make league night due to work. A bank round of (57) was used to match up against his opponent. Larry finally got back down into the 40’s, posting a (48) in last weeks round. Larry opened his round with a bogey and followed with a double. He nailed a par on the first par three and then took a bogey on the 13th hole. Larry got stung by a double on the tough #14 hole and then went back to back with bogeys. His final two holes did the balance of damage as he posted a final double and a triple on the par 5, 18th. Larry finished with (1) par. Good round Larry.

Team #B4: Tim Weigel (47) & Matt Zuber (44): Tim posts his best round of the season coming in with a nice (47). Tim started with a bogey and nailed a par on the 11th hole.

He made back to back bogeys before taking three extra shots on the 14th hole. Tim nailed his second par on hole #15. A final bogey came on #16 and it was a triple on the par 4 - 17th.

Tim finished with a final double on hole #18. Tim finished with (2) pars. Matt continues his up and down rounds as he comes in with a decent round of (44).

Matt’s golf ball was hot, finding several pars in a row. He opened with (4) straight pars before getting clipped by a triple on hole #14.He then had a bit of trouble as he posted a bogey on #15 followed by back to back doubles. He finished with a bogey on #18. Matt notched (4) pars.

Nice rounds by both players, who increase their lead over 2nd place by (6) more points.

Team #B5: Ernie Danos (54) & Steve Fleck (Bk59): Steve was unable to make it and a bank round of 59 was used against his opponent. Ernie did make it and had his fair share of problems. For the second week in a row, Ernie posts a (54). Two holes in his round did extensive damage to his round. The first hole cost him a quad. After a bogey on #11, Ernie got nipped by a triple on hole #12. He nailed

His only par on #13. Back to back doubles on #14 & #15 was followed by a bogey on #16.

His final two holes did the rest of the damage. His second quad on #17 was followed by a final double. Ernie notched (1) par. Good try Ernie.

Team #B6: Erv Rock (57) & Jim ’Coach’ Loughead: Erv & Coach continue to hand on to 5th place, with Erv coming in with a couple more strokes this week than last week. Erv came into the 19th hole with a (57).

After his opening double followed by a triple, Erv nailed a par on hole #12. Then is was on to the double bogey train.

Starting on #13, Erv posted four in a row, taking him to his final two holes. Neither one was good to Erv. Continued below

BILL MARSACK LEADS THE ‘B’ FLIGHT INTO THE CLUBHOUSE WITH THE BEST ROUND A VERY NICE [42]~MATT ZUBER POSTS A (44) & KEN KELCHNER COMES IN WITH A (45) & TIM WEIGEL (47) Jim posted his best round of the season, coming in with a (51). Jim took an opening triple but settled down on his next two holes. Jim made back to back bogeys on #11 & #12.

Coach also got on a bogey train, making three in a row.

He nailed a par on #16 and the bottom caved in again. He posted a triple on #17 and finished with a double on the par 5 - 18th. Coach finished with (1) par. Good job by both.

Team #B7: Mike Kove (51) & Rand Hewitt (Bk 61): Rand was unable to make league night and a bank round of (61) was used against his opponent.

Mike Kove continues to heal from the surgery he had a few weeks back. Mike stuck in a double on #11 between bogeys on 10 & 12 enroute to his (51). His next three holes took a huge toll on his round. He made a double on #13 and a double on #15. Hole number 14 cut into his round with a triple. After a bogey on #16, Mike finished with back to back doubles. Good try Mike.

Team #B8: Bill Folson (Bk 49) & Brian Hewitt (Bk59): Both players were unable to make the league night. Bill had eye surgery and please remember to keep him in prayer for quick healing.

Brian and Rand were both involved in a program they sponsor. Bill had a bank round of (49) & Brian had a (59).

Team #B1: Ken Kelchner (45) & Denny Obenauer ((48). After starting with back to back doubles, Ken settled down some. He nailed a par on #12 and followed with a bogey on 13.

He nailed back to back pars on 14 & 15. Ken finished with back to back doubles. Ken comes in with a (45), posting (3) pars. Denny comes into the clubhouse with a nice (48), his second round in a row in the 40’s.

After an opening bogey, Denny nailed back to back pars. His next two holes took its toll, as he made back to back triples. He got back into bogey land on holes #16 & 17. Denny finished with a final double on #18. Denny notched (2) pars. Nice rounds by both players who continue to climb the ladder.

Team #B2: Bill Marsack (42) & Ron Corfield (61): Bill posts his best round of the season with a very nice (42) to lead the ‘B’ flight in with the best round. After a bogey on #10, Bill nailed a birdie on #11 to get back even. He notched a bogey on #12 and #13 before making back to back pars on #14 & #15. A double popped up on #16 before Bill finished with a bogey on #17 and a double on #18. Bill finished with (20 pars and (1) birdie. Ron continues to post rounds in the low 60’s, as he comes in with a (61) in week 12.

Ron started his round with back to back doubles. He stuck in a triple on the first par three. Ron put a quad score on #14 surrounded by continued below left

OUR FIRST PLACE TEAM (#A6-NATE HOOD & TREVOR VALLUS) HAVE STALLED A BIT AS TEAM #A3 (ANDRE VIGER & KEN HUYGHE) HAVE NOW CLIMBED WITHIN 2 POINTS OF TAKING OVER FIRST PLACE!!

Team #A3: Andre Viger (40) & Ken Huyghe (38): Andre continues to strike the ball well and comes in with a very nice round of (40). The opening hole did the most damage as he posted a triple. He nailed back to back pars on the 11th & 12th holes.

After a bogey on #13, Andre nailed pars on his next three holes. Andre finished with a bogey on 18 and par on 19. Andre finished with (6) pars.

Ken got his round back into the 30’s after 3 straight rounds in the low 40’s. Ken comes in with a 3 over (38). Ken started slow posting

bogeys on his first two holes. Ken got on track for a couple of holes with back to back pars on 12 & 13. Another bogey showed up on Ken’s card on hole #14. He got rid of that extra stroke with a long birdie on hole #15.

He made a ho hum par on #16 and added another bogey on to his card on #17. Ken finished with a solid par on #18. Ken notched (4) pars and (1) birdie. Nice rounds guys.

Team #A4: Ray Ressler (41) & Gary Kwapik (41): Both Ray and Gary played decently in week #12. Ray comes in with a (41). Ray started with

A bogey on hole #10 to start his round. He nailed a par on #11 and then missed a par putt on #12. Ray got on a par roll as he nailed pars on 13, 14 & 15. He ended the run with a bogey on 16 and 17. He took his only double on the par 5 - 18th.

Gary was hot right off the tee as he nailed a birdie on #10. He notched a par on #11 to remain 1 under. He made bogey on the par three and then posted a double on #13. He nailed back to back pars on #14 & #15 before making his second continued below left

Team #A5: Warren Hood (48) & Jim Turner (46): Warren continues to struggle to get back into the lower 40’s, coming in with a (48) last week.

Warren opened with a double on #10 and was 3 over after his bogey on #11. That turned into 5 over after Warren posted a double on #12. He made his first of two pars on #13.

Hole #14 cut into his round as he

posted a triple. He nailed a par on #16 and then got stung by his second triple of the round on #17. Warren finished with a bogey on #18. Warren notched (2) pars. Jim Turner continues to play steady, posting his second (46) in a row. Jim got bit by back to back doubles to start his round. He made bogey on the first par three and nailed his first of 3 pars on hole #13. Again, Jim got tripped up by doubles on his next three holes, taking him to the tough par four 17th. Jim nailed a par on that one and finished with a par on the final hole, the par 5 - 18th. Jim finished with

(3) pars in his round. Good try by Pastor Hood & nice round Pastor Turner.

Team #A6: Nate Hood (49) & Trevor Vallus (43): Nate played a bit better this week, coming in with a (49). Nate opened with a triple on the first hole but then seemed to recover a bit with back to back bogeys on 11 & 12. He then got stung by back to back doubles on 13 & 14. He bogeyed the short par four, #15 and nailed a par on #16. He finished with back to back doubles on 17 & 18. Nate notched (1) par.

PAT NELLIS COMES IN WITH A GREAT ROUND ~ A (1 UNDER PAR) 34 TO LEAD THE ‘A’ FLIGHT PLAYERS INTO THE 19TH HOLE - KEN HUYGHE POSTS A (38) DOM DERITA A (39) & ANDRE VIGER & BILL GAUNT (40) Trevor also made a nice recovery from last week, coming in with a decent round of 43. Trevor opened with back to back pars to get off to a good start. After posting back to back bogeys on #12 & #13, Trevor put a double on the card on #14. Team #A7: Bill Gaunt (40) & Steve Ciaramitaro (52): Bill got his round back to where he belongs, coming in with a very nice round of (40). Bill nailed back to back pars on #10 & #11 before making a bogey on #12. After a par on #13. Bill got bit by double bogeys on #14, #15 & #16. He nailed a par on the tough #17 hole but got stung by a double on #18. Bill finished with (5) pars.

Steve has seemed to level out some, coming in with a (52) last week. The opening hole took a huge toll on his round as he added 5 extra strokes over par. Steve made a decent recovery as he posted back to back bogeys on 11 & 12. The next two holes did some more damage to his round as he made a double on 13 and tripled #14.

Steve again got back into swing and posted back to back bogeys. The 17th hole dug into his round with his second triple of his round. Steve finished with a very nice par on #18. Steve notched (1) par. Nice rounds by both players who continue to climb up the ladder.

Team #A8: Billy Alessandrini (47) & Doug Busam (50): Billy comes into the 19th hole with one of his better rounds this season, posting a (47) last week. Billy made back to back bogeys to start his round on 10 & 11. He nailed a par on #12 and then got into double trouble. He made doubles on 13, 14 & 15 before stopping the bad run with a par on #16. He finished with back to back doubles on his final two holes. Bill nailed (2) pars in his round. Doug had a bit of a better round, but not what he should be shooting at this time. Doug comes in with a (50 ) in last weeks round. His opening two holes cost Doug back to back triples. He looked like he got that out of his system as he nailed back to back pars on 112 & 13. Doug posted a double on #14 but came right back to notch a par on #15. Doug stalled out again, finishing his round with doubles on the final three holes. Doug notched (3) pars. A nice round by Billy and good try by Doug.

Team #A1: Brian DeRita (Bk 39) & Dominic DeRita (39): Brian was absent in week 12 and a bank round of (39) was used.

Dom had another nice round, coming in with a (39). Dom started hot, nailing pars on his first four holes. The double on #14 dug into his round some, but he nailed a very nice birdie on #15.

Dom slowed down some, finishing with bogeys on his final three holes. Dom finished with (4) pars and (1) birdie. Nice round by Dom.

Team #A2: Pat Nellis (34) & Cory Routheaux (48): Pat leads the ‘A’ Flight players in with a very nice 1 under par round of (34). Pat opened with pars on his first three holes. After posting a bogey on #13, Pat nailed a par on #14. Pat then nailed back to back birdies, one on 15 & then on 16 to get to 1 under. He finished with solid pars on 17 & 18. Pat notched (6) pars and (2) birdies. His only blemish was the bogey on #13. Cory got off to a very poor start, posting an opening quad on #10. He made a bogey on #11 and nailed a par on

#12. After another bogey, this one on #13, Cory then made a double bogey on #14. Cory bogeyed his way through 15 & 16 before finishing with back to back doubles on his final two holes. Cory notched (1) par. A great round by Pat and good effort by Cory.
