TEAM #B4 (TIM WEIGEL & MATT ZUBER) INCREASE THEIR LEAD OVER 2ND PLACE TO 12 POINTS~MEANWHILE TEAM #B2 (BILL MARSACK & RON CORFIELD) CLIMB TO WITHIN (5) POINTS OF MOVING INTO 2ND PLACE!!!

Team #B1: Ken Kelchner (47) & Denny Obenauer (Bk 54): Denny is on vacation and a bank round of (54) was used against his opponent last week. Ken just could not get on track at the start of his round. He posted doubles on #10, #13 & #14 while making bogeys on #11 & #12. After a bogey on #15, Ken notched his only par on #16. One more bogey on #17 and a final double. Ken finished with (1) par.

Good try Ken. Team #B2: Bill Marsack (48) & Ron Corfield (63): Bill got off to a very slow start as he posted doubles on the first three holes. He then seemed to level out and made bogeys on #13, #14 & #15 and stuck in a par on the par three 16th.

He bogeyed the tough #17 and finished with a triple bogey on #18. Bill notched (1) par. Ron went up three strokes from

last week, coming in with a (63) on the back nine. After opening with a quad, Ron went on a double bogey run. Starting at hole #11, Ron posted 4 doubles in a row. His final four holes did the most damage to his round. After back to back quads, Ron finished with a triple on #17 and added (5) strokes over the hole par on #18. A valiant effort to Ron, and nice try by Bill. Bill & Ron are within striking distances of overtaking 2nd place as they trail by 5.

Team #B3: Larry Ball (50) & Norm Giraud (Bk 49): Norm was on a interview and we keep him in our prayers for a positive result.

Norm used a bank round (49) against his opponent in week 10. was able to make it and posted a round of (50). He had his fair of problems to start his round. He posted back to back triples. He posted a double on the first par three and then got on a bogey train. He notched (5) straight bogeys to help his round overcome the tough start. He finished with a final double on the 18th hole. Still not a bad round as he hovers around the low fifties for the third week in a row. Good effort Larry.

Team #B4: Matt Zuber (43) & Tim Weigel (52): Matt again had a very nice round as he posts the best round for the B flight. He comes in with a (43).

Matt open with a par on the tough starting hole #10. After back to back doubles, Matt got stuck with a triple on hole #13.

He made a nice recovery as he notched a par on #14 and nailed a birdie on #15. Once more par, this one on the par three and he finished with back to back bogeys. Matt notched (2) pars and (1) birdie. Tim got started with doubles on #10 and #12 sticking in a couple of bogeys on 11 & 13. Hole number 14 & 15 beat his round up as he posted a quad and followed with a double on #15. He parred the 16th and finished with a double on 17 and triple Continued bottom left

#B4 MATT ZUBER LEADS THE ‘B’ FLIGHT INTO THE CLUBHOUSE WITH THE BEST ROUND ~ A 43 ~ FOLLOWED IN BY KEN KELCHNER (47) & BILL MARSACK (48) on 18, his best round of the season, Tim notched (1) par in his (52). Nice rounds by both players who increase their lead to 12 points.

Team #B5: Ernie Danos (51) & Steve Fleck (59):

Ernie went up 3 strokes coming in with a (51). He started rough, posting a quad. He then stuck in a par on #12 between bogeys on 11 & 13. #14 cost Ernie a quad and followed that with a double. He fin-

ished with a par on 16, a double on 17 and triple on 18. Ernie notched (2) pars.

Steve first two holes and last two holes cost him two quads and two triples beating down his round from start to finish. He posted

doubles on holes #12, #13 #14 & #15 before stopping them with a triple on #16.

Steve comes in with a (59) four strokes worse than last week. Good try by both players.

07/23/15 stuck in back to back doubles on 11 & 12. Then the bottom dropped out with back to back triples on 13 & 14. Coach nailed his only par on #15. After a bogey on 16, Coach finished with back to back triples on his final two holes.

Coach finished with (1) par. Good effort and rounds by Erv & Coach as they continued to hold on to 5th place in the standings.

Team #B7: Mike Kove (Bk 54) & Rand Hewitt (61): Mike recovered from his surgery but could not make the league night as he got caught up in his job. He used a (54) bank round to post against his opponent. This is Rand’s first round in the 60’s as he comes into the clubhouse with a (61). The first hole

Team #B6: Erv Rock (59) & Jim Loughead (55): For the last 3 out of 4 rounds, Erv stays in the 50’s.

He comes in with a (59) last week.

After an opening quad, he made a bogey on #11. The first par three clipped him for a triple but he again came back with a bogey on #13. The final five holes did the rest of the damage. He started with (5) extra strokes on #14. A triple followed on #15 and he put a double on the card on #16, the 2nd par three. He finished with a final triple on #17 and double on #18.

Coach Loughead posts his third of his last 4 rounds in the mid 50’s coming in with a (55). Coach opened with a triple on 10 and

double and the second hole bogey did not hurt as much as his next 5 holes. It was a quad on #12 that started his tough run of bad holes.

Hole #13 was a triple and he followed with another quad on #14.

He made another triple, this on hole #15. His final three holes were a quad on #16, double on 17 and a final triple on #18. Good try Rand.

Team #B8: Bill Folson (Bk 53) & Brian Hewitt (59): Bill Folson should be back this week after an extended vacation over seas to visit relatives. Brian stays in the upper 50’s coming in with a (59) in last weeks league play. Brian’s first two holes cost him 7 extra strokes as he posted an opening quad and a triple on #11. He made a welcome bogey on #12 and the bottom dropped out

again. He added a triple on #13 and quad on #14. He made a bogey on #15 and double on #16.

His final two holes did more damage as he posted back to back triples. A valiant effort by Brian.

TEAM #A3 (ANDRE VIGER & KEN HUYGHE) SLOW DOWN THE LEADERS TEAM #A6 (NATE HOOD & TREVOR VALLUS) AS THEY WIN THEIR MATCH AGAINST THEM AND NOW TRAIL BY 9 POINTS!!

Team #A1: Brian DeRita (39) & Dominic DeRita (41): For the second week in a row, Brian keeps his round in the 30’s, as he comes into the 19th hole with a (39). After an opening par on #10, Brian posted back to back bogeys on 11 & 12.

He got back into par mode as he notched them on #13 & #14. After getting bit by his only double on #15, Brian got back into a par groove. He finished with pars on the final three holes. Brian

finished with (6) pars. Dominic went up a couple of strokes from last week, as he finished with a (41). Dominic started slow, posting bogeys on the first 4 holes before notching a par on #14. He posted another bogey, this on #15. Dom nailed back to back pars on #16 & 17 before finishing with a bogey on #18. Dom notched (3) pars in his round. Nice shooting by both players who gain six points on the leaders.

Team #A2: Pat Nellis (36) & Cory Routheaux (41): Pat finally got back into a groove dropping 3 strokes off

last weeks round as he comes into the clubhouse with a one over (36).

Pat was sailing along in his round as he started with a par on 10 and did not stop making them until he took his only bogey on #17. He finished with a par on #18. Pat made (8) pars in his round. Cory seems like he has found his game finally coming in with his 2nd (41) in a row.

After the opening bogey, Cory continued below left

nailed a par on #11 and got his round back to even with a birdie on #12. He made his only double on the 13th hole.

He made one more par, this on #15 and finished with bogeys on 4 of his last five holes. Cory notched (2) pars and (1) birdie. Nice shooting by both players in some nice rounds.

Team #A3: Andre Viger (39) & Ken Huyghe (41): Andre & Ken played the first place team to start the second half after playing them in our 2nd position round. Last time they

lost ground, but his time they gained (4) points and trail the leaders by 9.

Andre opened with a bogey on #10.

He notched a par on #2 and got his second bogey on #12.

Andre then got into a nice rhythm as he nailed pars on his next 4 holes to help his round. He took his only double on the tough #1 handicap hole on the back but finished on a positive note with a par on #18. Andre finished with (6) pars in his round. After three straight rounds in the 30’s, Ken comes into the

clubhouse with his second straight (41). Ken got stung by a double on #10 to start his round in the hole. He nailed a par on #11 and then made back to back bogeys on #12 & #13.

He looked like he got back into the par mode, nailing back to back pars on #14 & #15. He then made back to back bogeys on 16 & 17 before finishing with a par on #18. Ken posted (4) pars. Nice rounds by both players as they both continue to shoot well.

PAT NELLIS COMES IN TO THE 19TH HOLE WITH THE BEST ROUND A 1 OVER PAR (36)~ANDRE VIGER & BRIAN DERITA WITH (39’S) Team #A4: Ray Ressler (46) & Gary Kwapik (41): Ray was definitely off in week #10, as he comes in with his worse round of the season posting a ugly (46). It was all bogeys on his first five holes, as they started on the 18th hole. He made his first of

two doubles on #14 as his ball found the water that led to 2 extra shots on the hole. He posted bogeys on 15 & 16 before finishing with a double on #17. Gary continues to play decent and comes in with a (41) in league play. After Gary started his round with a par on hole #18, he took his only

double on the #10 hole. He then started making pars with some very nice putting, putting five in a row on his card. He found a bogey on #16 and finished with a triple on #17. Gary notched (6) pars in a nice round. A good effort by Ray and nice shooting by Gary.

Volume 17 Issue 11 Team #A5: Warren Hood (43) & Jim Turner (49): Now that Pastor knows his options and that the surgery although necessary, it is not as imminent as first thought, he has seemed to relax some and comes in with his second (43) in a row. Warren started with a par on #18 but got bit by a double on #10. He nailed back to back pars on #11 & #12. Hole number 13 did what #10 did as he made his second double. He notched bogeys on 14 & 15 as he finished with a par on 16 and a final double on #17. Warren finished with (4) pars. Jim has not had any round over 46, but stumbled a bit more this week coming in with a (49). His first three holes did the most damage to his round. He opened with a double on 18 and doubled #11 sticking in a triple on #10. He then seemed to get his round back into some kind of rhythm as he notched bogeys on 12, 13 & 14. He nailed a par on #15 and finished with back to back doubles on 16 & 17. Jim finished with (1) par. A nice round by Pastor Hood and good effort and try by Pastor Turner.

Team #A6: Nate Hood (47) & Trevor Vallus (44): Nate has leveled off some, coming in with his third round in the upper forties, posting a (47). Nate got off to a rough start with an opening triple on #10. He nailed back to back pars on #11 & #12 to get back on track. His next two holes clipped him for back to back doubles. After notching a par on #15, Nate got bit again by back to back doubles. Nate finished with a bogey on #18. Nate finished with (3) pars.

Trevor’s round came up a bit, as he came into the 19th hole with a (44). Trevor got off to a poor start, posting back to back doubles on 10 & 11. He nailed his first of three pars on #12. After a bogey on #13, Trevor posted his third double, this one on #14. He parred 15 and finished with bogeys on 16 & 17, but finished with a par on #18. Trevor made (3) pars. Nice try by both players in some decent rounds.

Team #A7: Bill Gaunt (Bk 41) & Steve Ciaramitaro (52): Bill Gaunt was on an excursion up north and was unable to make the league night and a (41) bank round was used against his opponent. Steve has seemed to start playing better and comes in with his third round in a row in the low 50’s. Steve got off to a rough start, posting an opening double, a quad on #11 and double on #12. He nailed a par on #13 and then got bit by a triple on #14. He bogeyed his next two holes and then got clipped by a triple on #17. Steve finished with a bogey on 18. Steve finished with (1) par in a decent round.

Team #A8: Billy Alessandrini (52) & Doug Busam (45): Billy continues has only been in the 40’s once in the last four weeks and comes into the clubhouse with a (52) last week. His first two holes and the last hole did the most damage to his round. Billy opened with a triple and followed with a double. He notched bogeys on his next three holes, #12, 13 & 14.

His next three holes did the balance of the damage. He posted back to back doubles followed by a closing triple on the 18th hole. Doug continues to stay in the forties and comes into the watering hole with his best round of the season, a nice (45). After an opening double, Doug leveled

out some and made bogeys on his next three holes, taking him to hole #14. There he proceeded to make a nice par on a tough hole. Doug then sandwiched a bogey on #16 between doubles on #15 & #17. Doug finished on a very good note, nailing a par on #18. Doug finished with (2) pars in his round. A valiant effort by Billy and nice shooting by Doug.
