TEAM #A6 (NATE HOOD & TREVOR VALLUS) INCREASE THEIR LEAD TO 13 POINTS OVER 2ND PLACE TEAM #A3 (ANDRE VIGER & KEN HUYGHE) AS THE 2ND POSITION ROUND MADE SOME CHANGES TO THE STANDINGS!! Team #A8: Billy Alessandrini (49) & Doug Busam (49): Billy got his round back into the 40’s as he comes in with a 49 in week #9. Billy opened with a double on #1 and posted back to back bogeys on #2 & #3. He doubled the par three 4th and made a bogey on the 2nd par 5, hole #5. He finished with doubles on 6 & 8 and bogeys on 7 & 9. Partner Doug has now posted his last 5 rounds in the 40’s coming in with the same score as his partner, a 49. Doug also opened with a double on #1 and a bogey on #2. Hole number 4 bit him for his only triple. Like Billy, Doug also posted a double on #4. He made back to back bogeys on #5 & #6 and nailed his only par on #7. Doug finished with a double on 8 and bogey on 9. Doug notched (1) par in his round. Good effort by both players for their rounds. Team #A1: Brian DeRita (38) & Dom DeRita (39): Brian knocked off a

couple of strokes from the last time he played the front, coming in with a two over 38. Brian made a very nice par to start his round and quickly went 1 under with a birdie on #2. After posting a bogey on #3, Brian notched back to back pars on 4 & 5. Brian posted a bogey on #6 & notched pars on #7 & #9 sticking in a bogey on #8. Brian finished with (5) pars and (1) birdie. Dominic continues to shoot well and comes in with a 3 over 39. The first hole was the only hole to bite him for a double. He nailed pars on #2 & #3 and stuck his tee shot on the par three 4th to within a 5’. There he knocked off one of the extra strokes on #1 with a birdie. He bogeyed the next two holes and

then his putter got hot. He finished on a very nice note, with three straight pars. Nice finish Dom. Dom notched (5) pars and (1) birdie. Nice rounds by both players who drop into 4th. Team #A2: Pat Nellis (39) & Cory Routheaux (41): Pat continues to strike the ball well and comes in with a three over (39) in week 9. Pat got off to a slow start as the posted back to back bogeys to start his round. Then Pat got into a groove, nailing pars on his next (5) holes. He stopped the run with a bogey on 8 and finished with a par on #9. Pat notched (6) pars in his round. Cory hasn’t had a low forties round this season, but came busting out with a very nice (41) last week. Cory started with bogeys on continued below left

THREE PLAYERS LEAD THE ‘A’ FLIGHT IN WITH THE BEST ROUNDS OF THE NIGHT (2 OVER 38’S)~#A1 BRIAN DERITA ~ #A3 ANDRE VIGER ~ #A4 RAY RESSLER HONORABLE MENTION TO DOM DERITA, GARY KWAPIK & PAT NELLIS WITH 39’S!! fhisirst four holes. He broke the string with pars on his next three holes, taking him to hole #8. He posted a bogey on 8 and finished with a solid par on 9. Cory finished with (4) pars in his round. Nice rounds by both players who move up one spot, into 5th place after the 2nd position round. They have steadily moved up from near the bottom with some nice rounds. Team #A3: Andre Viger (38) & Ken Huyghe (41): Andre and Ken both continue to play well, but were unable to make up any ground as they played the 1st place team and

dropped a close match that increased the first place teams lead to (13). Andre was hot right out of the gate, nailing pars on the first four holes. After a bogey on #5, Andre got back to making pars. He notched two more on hole #6 & #7. He finished off his round with a bogey on 8 and a final par on 9. Andre notched (7) pars in his two over round of (38). Ken fell off his round a bit with his last three being in the 30’s, came in with a (41) this week. Ken opened his round with three straight bogeys to get a slow start on his round. He nailed a birdie on #4 to knock off a stroke on his card. Ken just seemed

to be off just enough that his putts would not drop. He posted a bogey on the 2nd par 5 and drained a par on the tough #6 hole. After back to back bogeys on holes #7 & 8, Ken finished with a par on hole #9. Ken finished with (2) pars and (1) birdie in his round. Good shooting by both players who remain in 2nd place as we get ready to start the second half of play. Andre shares the best round honors with Ray Ressler & Brian DeRita.
