#3 ANDRE & KEN STILL HOLD A SIZEABLE LEAD OVER THE 2ND PLACE TEAM OF #11 STAN & RAY WITH OUR FINAL POSITION NEXT WEEK !! PAT ‘THE BIG EASY’ NELLIS POSTS THE BEST ROUND A (38) LAST WEEK! Team #12: Jim ‘Coach’ Loughead (51) & Erv Rock (62): Coach has seemed to get his game together and posts his second 51 in a row. In fact, Jim has posted 3 of his last four rounds at 51. Great improvement Jim. Coach’s card was filled with 4 doubles, a couple of triples and a solid par on #16. Coach is playing much better the second half. Erv really dropped off from last weeks 57, coming in 5 strokes higher. Erv posted a couple of bogeys, one double and several quads. It was a valiant effort by Erv coming in with a 62. Team #13: Doug Busam (48) & Nate Hood (46): Doug continues to have roller coaster rounds, coming in with a 48, two strokes lower than last week. Doug started with a triple but played bogey golf for the next two holes. He added back to back doubles. He nailed his only par on #15 and finished with two bogeys on a double. Good shooting Doug. Nate has seemed to level out some, posting a decent round of 46 last week. Nate had three double to go with a triple. Nate nailed pars on 11, 16 & 18 finishing with (3) pars. Nice effort and round Nate. Team #14: Wayne Davidson ( Bk round 42) & Rusty Ellison (46): Wayne was absent last week and a bank round of (42) was used to go up against his opponent. Wayne’s 42 netted him 22 points while he was away. Rusty had a couple of tough holes to start but seemed to recover admirably. He played bogey golf most of the round adding in a par on #16 & #18. He stuck in a double on the double water hole #14. All in all it was decent finish for Rusty coming in with a 46, with (2) pars. Team #15: Mark Dixon (50) & Don Theol (49): Mark shaved four stokes off his previous weeks round coming in with a 50 last week. The opening hole gouged round immediately as he posted 5 extra strokes. Mark then went double – par on the next four holes. He played bogey golf from #15 thru #17. The final hole cost him a final triple. Still a good recovery round Mark. Mark finished with (2) pars. Don lost ground this week posting 3 more strokes than last week. The opening two holes cost Don 5 extra strokes. He made a par on #12 and added bogeys on 3 holes. His other three holes were filled with doubles. Good effort Don. Don finished with (1) par. Team #16: Ernie Danos ( Bk round 57) & Steve Fleck (60): Ernie was unable to attend the league night and a bank round of 57 was used to match up against his opponent. Steve was able to play struggled on four of the first 5 holes. It was 18 extra strokes that crippled his round. He did recover some, posting bogeys on the next three holes and took a final triple on #18. Good try Steve.
Team #17: Greg Haigh (49) & Mike Kove (55): Greg and Mike both struggled this week. Greg took an opening triple and then seemed to level out. He posted bogeys on the 11th, 12th & 13th. And then got bit by a triple and double on 14 & 15. Greg nailed his only par on #16 and then finished with a bogey on 17 and a final double on #18. Greg finished with (1) par in his round of 49, three strokes more than last week. Mike also had his troubles in last week coming into the clubhouse with a 55. Mike started with back to back doubles. He nailed a par on the first par three. The next 5 holes did extensive damage to his round. He made two quads, two doubles and a triple that crippled his round. Mike finished with (1) par in his round.
