Project: Vertically Integrated Projects: Reforming Concrete
Role: Mechanical Design
A 3D printed dowel used for concrete reinforcement. Based on shear studs used in composite decking. Design to be used with a concrete beam poured in geotextile fabric framework. The reinforment is set perpendicualr to the load bearing sufaces to transfer tensile loads from the concrete to the geotextile support structure.
