The goal of this project was to design an areodynamic vehicle and use Solidworks flow simulation to show how the surface of the model are affected by external airflow while move at high speeds.

3D Printed Concrete Reinforcement

Date: Fall 2021-Present

Project: Vertically Integrated Projects: Reforming Concrete

Role: Mechanical Design

A 3D printed dowel used for concrete reinforcement. Based on shear studs used in composite decking. Design to be used with a concrete beam poured in geotextile fabric framework. The reinforment is set perpendicualr to the load bearing sufaces to transfer tensile loads from the concrete to the geotextile support structure.
