Green is a key focus in new home building
What’s inside:
Thinking about the environment comes first for many local developers
G
reen is big in Greater Vancouver homes. Many local developers have been incorporating green, or sustainable, standards into their home designs for years, but now, there’s a made-in-Canada certification system that tells consumers their home is built with the environment – and energy cost-savings – in mind. She notes Green Streets create unique, landscaped boulevards that do not go unnoticed by visitors, and says the design CONTINUED ON P.2
