Scores of detectives gathered at Horsethief Creek Pub and Eatery to solve a murder earlier this month. The detectives were so proactive that they began interrogating the suspects before the murder itself took place. Pausing only for dinner and a rousing match of Rock, Paper, Scissors, the super sleuths mused over means and motives before levelling their accusations and netting a confession. Juanita Rose Violini wrote and directed the steampunk murder mystery, while valley actors took on the characters she created. Photo submitted
