Kimberley’s Community Band, conducted by Ian Ferrie, performed a beautiful Christmas Concert Friday evening, December 12 in the Anglican Church Hall. The audience were treated to many old favorites and challenged to sing along. It was wonderful to hear these familiar tunes played by a large band. The grand finale was a medley of 8 old Christmas favorites. As always, the music was terrific.

Kimberley City Council held a special Council meeting this past Monday evening to take care of a few items before the Christmas break.

One piece of business was to introduce the new Manager of Parks, Recreation and Facilities,
Dave Clarke to Council. Clarke said one of his goals was to look at where the City was in terms of all its facilities and to create a master plan for parks and recreation. Coun.
