Things are going to get warmer at the Child Development Centre. Monday the federal government, under the Western Economic Diversification and Community Infrastructure Improvement Fund (WEDCIIF) umbrella, announced $33,874 in funding for the centre to upgrade the

fortable environment for the children and families that attend our programs and services and also for the tenants located in the building.” The funding announcement totalled $233,000 and aims to support five infrastructure projects, three in the Nechako region, one on the North Coast and the CDC project. “I am pleased to an-

nounce our government’s support for infrastructure improvement projects in B.C.’s Nechako, North Coast and Cariboo regions,” Minister for State for Western Economic Diversification Michelle Rempel said. “These facilities provide important community services and support the prosperity of our communities for years to come.” Kuhn said funding
