Innovative canadian astronaut chris Hadfield has spoken to one of the widest audiences possible – the planet earth – but he narrowed that focus considerably last Thursday. Hadfield, former commander of the International Space Station and well-known for his down-to-earth space talks and Tweets, agreed to a Skype meeting with teacher Holly Kallie’s Grade 4/5 class at Salmon Arm West elementary school. School district #83 students will return to class today to the news that they won’t have a recess break, but will be getting out of school 15 minutes early. due to job action by the Bc Teachers Fed-
eration, teachers will be initiating phase one of strike action which includes withdrawing supervision duties. School district #83 superintendent Glenn Borthistle says to ensure student safety without teacher supervision, the school district made a decision
