Vandal damages Bella Bella school Gazette staff BELLA BELLA—Just weeks after a major fire tore through the local store, residents of Bella Bella were left reeling again after an attack on the community’s only school. Under construction for
the past year, the Bella Bella Community School was nearing completion and preparing for the upcoming school year. According to RCMP, a lone male entered the school at around 4 a.m. on August 23 and went on
a rampage, smashing TVs, Smart Boards and computers, as well as interior and exterior windows. Paint was also found dumped on the floors and computers. “The damage sustained to the school was esti-
